    If annotation does not work with .pdf files, why does it appear every time I double-click on any Adobe Reader file in zotero? It is pointless and occupies valuable screen space.

    Is Zotero Section 508 compliant (see www.section508.gov)? In other words does it work with screen reader software like JAWS for people with disabilities?

    As a bit of an aside, why do you say this? I've always insisted on FF using an external reader to open pdfs, as using a pdf reader plugin just clutters the screen up with another layer of toolbars etc
