One correction. While the editors' names do appear on the page in a predictable place, they are not included in the page metadata.
-
Ah. This is my error. It seems that the version of Chicago (author-date) included with Juris-M is not the most recent version. Sorry for the confusion!
-
I should note that for the two use cases mentioned in the specification (i.e. two numbers connected by a hyphen, two numbers connected by an ampersand), the behaviour is as expected. It's only with more complicated numbering is used, or when two num…

Sorry, I have been unclear. So far as I understand, the only part of the OSCOLA style that determines how pinpoint identifiers are rendered is the following: para paras This is the correct form of the plural as per the OSC…

I note that this issue also occurred with the current builds of Juris-M firefox plugin, and all of the auxilliary plugins (Myles, Word plug in, etc) @fbennett any chance that this is a quick fix?
-
Just a note that this problem continues. With the most recent update of Juris-M addon (for FF 54), the translator for HeinOnline reverted to adding in the extra hyphen. The above fix, replacing the translator manually, solved the problem as before. …

@fbennett I note that this is also impacting Juris-M, even after a full reinstall of all the addons. The database is there, and undamaged: it shows up in Juris-M. Standalone. But in FF, the library folders display, but not their content.

Thanks Frank.
-
And the version of Zotero Standalone I have on my work computer (downloaded today, it's running 4.0.29.17) also appears correctly.
-
Further detail: I use Juris-M on my home computer, and these cites still render the old way.
-
Further details: Word 2010 Professional plus, most recent version of Word Plugin Have now reproduced on another computer using the same software.

I am having a problem with the Heinonline translator. It is inputting the variables correctly, but every field is being entered with a leading "- " (hyphen space). Is anyone else having this issue?
-
I have a similar issue. I've just switched over my file-sync to Box (I hope temporarily; I am happy to pay the $20 a year for 2 gigs, but...). My Box account zotero WebDAV folder has 4104 files (zipped folders), totalling almost exactly 1.5 gigaby…

The HeinOnline translator is almost fixed, but it still imports the last page of texts rather than the first. I couldn't find the translator in the github translators repository (https://github.com/zotero/translators) to try and see if I could fix t…

PS: this solution worked excellently. So thanks for that.

Part of this has to do with a sense that I learned in a pre-open source era that my father labelled "RTFM" (the M stands for manual and the R for read...). It's still present there in e.g. http://lmgtfy.com/ There's a sense that you shouldn't outso…

Nah. It's just, when the answer to a question feels like it might be "the answer is over here in the documentation," I feel like checking there first is the perspicacious, efficient, upstanding thing to do. Just a matter of balancing "this is hard; …

Thanks for responding adamsmith, I have Zotero (firefox, latest version) installed on my laptop. I use sync. I also have Zotero installed on another computer at my university (ff, latest version of both). However, the university "computer" is ac…

Was there a decision on adding "Article" to the drop-down menu for pinpoints? Is this still in production? Or should I just plan to switch to MLZ? Any chance it might be added to the locators in the next iteration of CLS?
-
Thanks for getting back. The solution from MHRA will definitely get part way there. It's the labels that are the hard part, though. You're right that it is easy to get subsequent cites to disambiguate in the way I want (I'll implement that right awa…

Thanks for figuring this out; I have updated the style on the repository as per the McGill Guide.
-
Yeah, I am using an amended version, but I checked that it also happens in the version in the repository.
-
Pages are rendered without the locator label because of the requirements of the McGill guide style defintions, so pages 10-15 in a book would like Authorfirst Authorlast, Title (Location: Year, Publisher) at 10-15 while paragraph 75-77 of a reso…

I am getting some very odd behaviour as a result of strip-periods again. Here is some code adapted from mcgill-guide-v7.csl: For some reason, this st…

This name change makes sense to me. It would work for the compendiums of most Canadian legislation (and regulations for that matter).
-
Just to make clear where this problem is appearing, here's the code again, with the content of the "render-book" macro:
-
There's another problem which seems to be caused by strip-periods. Here's a summary of the offending code, taken from mcgill-guide-v7: When this is passed one …
-
@fbennett, Has the processor release gone through? The problem still appears with the latest version of the style.
-
Well, you've drawn me into an ugly corner now. I have to choose between valid code and predictable output on unfortunately framed inputs. Thanks for clearing up the source of these difficulties and why some 'simple' solutions won't work. Two thi…

Frank, Right! I see that the test code I gave isn't CSL 1.0 compliant. The problem is actually with the code in McGill v 7, which does meet the specs for CSL 1.0 (i.e. it doesn't pass strip-periods to directly). I got around that limitation wit…
