@frigidilius, the closest I think I've gotten on this front is something like in the following RDF. It's hacky and doesn't translate well to other styles but does provide correct output for SBLHS2. book A Grammar of New Testament Greek, by Ja…

In some ways, this really is a nice feature, but it's not one I often find myself in need of. So, for me, it usually just proves problematic when it (1) identifies too much text as an anchor (e.g., a full page or paragraph), (2) links an anchor to a…

@gouketing, this is something I'm interested in also but seems not to be possible at present. (Not sure it will significantly affect performance though.) This thread looks like it's where most of the discussion is accumulating.

@adamsmith, after doing some more work on this, it seems it's an issue with authentication in the browser. I do have access to the paywalled content. In Edge, I can authenticate and have Zotero import all the references from the issue page just fine…
-
Thank you, @adamsmith. I agree. Sorry I didn't come across that other thread before posting. If I add a page number back in the footer, copy text out of the document, and paste the text back into the document as RTF, the footer does indeed disappea…

Okay. Will do.—Part of the reason I hadn't thought to try that is that I don't have any plugins installed. Thanks, again, for the tip!
-
Um, no, as a matter of fact. Troubleshooting mode looks fine, and now when I open Zotero in normal mode, it looks as expected too. Will remember to try that if something goes similarly wonky again in the future. Thanks so much! :-)

Nice. Thanks so much!

Ah, got it, thanks, @martynas_b. For the present, is there a way to add the link (e.g., within certain markup or markdown conventions) so that it doesn't garble the text? Or is this just something that needs to be borne with until the pertinent Fire…

On issue #1, thanks so much, @dstillman! On issue #2, I'm on Windows, and the list appears on top of the citation dialog only when the dialog box is close enough to the bottom of the screen so that the list can't fully appear below the dialog.

Thank you, @gwyn-hopkins! I also happened to stumble across the fact that the field codes apparently get exposed in a copy-and-pasteable format if we click the "Switch to a Different Word Processor …" button (in, say, a copy of the document we're a…

After all that it would probably be quicker to insert the reference as usual from Zotero. Totally agree, @gwyn-hopkins. My goodness. :-O But so appreciate your taking the time to point out how it could be done if one were really minded to. Thanks s…

Thanks, @adomasven. I think I follow all of that except for how I copy the field code in the first place (these are the entries beginning "ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION …" right?). I don't seem to be able to do that either from the navigator or from the …
-
@adomasven, thanks for that confirmation. I see that in the Writer Navigator, we can view under Footnotes > References all of the ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION entries that correspond to a document's various citations. Is there a way to copy a citati…

Works like a charm now. Thanks so much @dstillman!

Sure, @dstillman. I think this should have it: D1417186097.

I've tried both with importing from the clipboard and by importing from an RIS file. For me, the partially broken import in the Zotero 7 beta is consistent between Windows 10 and 11, and the working import is likewise consistent between the two Wind…
-
@frigidilius, yes, this is a bug in the style. I haven't taken the time yet to sort out how best to resolve it. But for now, you can add and in the series title field around the series title for that resource. Zotero will then un-italicize series …

Thanks, @dstillman. I appreciate your having a look.

Thanks, @dstillman. Here's a pertinent debug ID: D2098087932. Any thoughts you might have from it would be most welcome. Thanks, again!

@dstillman, I'm having a similar issue (Report ID: 388769124). When I choose to download files "as needed," WebDAV works fine. But when I choose to download them "at sync time," I only get this error, even with a very small test library. Would it …
-
Never mind. I realized I could create a new Zotero account and use that inside a separate profile to do a first-hand test. And I see that I'd misunderstood an important piece of the compression associated with WebDAV. The ZIP and PROP files are how…
-
@dstillman, regarding how if people prefer seeing filenames in the items list, the correct solution — from Zotero or a plugin — would be to have an option to show the filename instead is this something that is already available (e.g., in 7.0.0-beta…
-
Got it. Thank you so much, @dstillman. Yes, I was intending to have the ZIP version sync to a separate database with a separate profile. Thanks, again!
-
@danielborek, thanks—yes, I should have specified that I am asking specifically about Windows. What I'm looking for is a ZIP version of Zotero 6 that I could use alongside a fully installed version of Zotero 7. I'm only seeing the ZIP version avai…
-
Is it possible to download a ZIP version of Zotero 6? Once Zotero 7 releases, it might be useful to have a ZIP copy of Zotero 6 to bridge the gap with addons that might not be or might not become compatible with Zotero 7. Thanks so much!
-
It may still be a non-starter, but I am able to get a OneDrive\Zotero folder to mount via WebDAV in Windows. When I then examine the properties of this folder, I see that - the target is https://d.docs.live.net/[CID]/zotero as expected and - the co…
