Yep, that would do it. Never thought to look there. Many thanks!

Is there a planned upgrade to address this problem, or are there any backdoor strategies for those of us who leaped before we looked? Thank you in advance,

Use case: When writing a meta-analysis or similar review document one starts with a large corpus of potentially relevant papers (in my case organized as a collection), and this would often number over 100 citations. The comprehensiveness of the list…

"AdamSmith"... the ability to group-select within multiple citations window would be a useful feature and this is why I posted the request to the "New features" component of the board. From the outside, it would seem to be a small thing... allow …

What I am trying to do is to highlight all citations in a collection using a simple workflow (e.g. CTRL A). CTRL-A, or SHIFT/CLICK or CTRL CLICK are now working as expected.
-
Right, so the workflow I am using is: (in Libre document) Select Quick Format CItation -> (presents wizard) Select Classic View Select Multiple Sources Try CTRL - A -> (no success) Highlight a record... Highlight another record using Sh…

Thanks! Under Ubuntu 12.10, Libreoffice 3.6.2.2 and Zotero 3.0.13 I cannot highlight multiple records using any of the usual strategies - including those suggested above. Can anyone validate this observation, or test that it works as expected (and…

Brain failure on my part... Installed the integration software but not the core program. Need coffee. Sorry

Ahh, ...clearly one wants to retain the Zotero functionality as well as have all the lovely Rstudio/knitr/sweave integration, but the current model in R/Rstudio is that one generates simple ASCII text - both for code and for commentary - so there's …
-
I should have added that I am trying to imagine how to achieve some of the elegance that has gone into Rstudio/knitr's current integration to generate HTLM5 outputs, compile PDFs, etc.

Thanks "Adam" . Do you perchance know the linux shortcut? Many thanks!

This is, as you are aware, a powerful idea! The Mendeley part is important because it signals the future emergence of a standard method for transmitting citation metadata within a document. Very very cool! I look forward to reading more about this…

OK, then perhaps I mis-spoke. Several of us are dealing with broken documents today... some combination of FF6, OO3, Linux, and current plugins. See: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/5968/illegalargumentexception-under-oo3-on-linux The ass…

This problem persists in 2.1.7 Select entry from main database, Right click, select "Add Attachment", {Add Snapshot; Add Link to Page; Add Stored; Add iInk to File}. Options 1 &^ 2 have icon, with "chain-link" image and blue background. Opti…

Fair enough, but it is an obvious place to look. Without a replicable example, I can't imagine that we can trace this down, so I'll close this for now, pending someone else reporting trouble with these great tools. Thanks,

Adam, Typically I am running regressions of large datasets (10^8 bytes), >500K observations in Rstudio. (That's my life!) I have 4Gigs of RAM, and I typically am working with

Rstudio forum post now public.

Oops... You are right. Rstudio staff will have to unlock it. I'd expect that done within an hour. They are very responsive - just like Zotero! R

Bumping this up, for attention, and replicating Zotero 2.16, Ubuntu 10.04, attempt to Add Attachment/Add Stored Copy option has no icon, but not "greyed-out". No activity on pressing space where icon should be... not that I expected.

I thought this happened to me after the 2.1rc1 upgrade. I simply had an empty "sub-library" clicked by accident. Click on "My Library" "found" the lost articles. If that is not your problem, and to reassure yourself that the data are , you can l…

Pedro, I have to agree, not every problem needs a hammer and this problem may well not need a jackhammer like R. The point is more to say 1) probabilistic methods are preferable to deterministic methods and 2) there are methods for this sort of t…

Clearly duplicate detection is both hard to do, and valued. There is a relevant statistical literature. Here's one lead: http://www.springerlink.com/content/788fq0p1wkjy63lt/ There may well be methods in "R" (open source statistics software) that …

Thanks for pointing me to these. Thread closed.

Well then, I will thank you for your efforts, and accept your comments in the spirit they were intended. Thank you. I hope that you and others would comment on what I see as a very minor design issue. I don't want to change the default style for …

Is it just me, or do others find that reply an unusually curt response for Zotero staff! I don't think my comments merited quite that terse a reply. Let me put it differently. Zotero is using the document style default and not the style in effect …

I started another forum this a..m., had that cancelled and redirected here. So, I'll ask again. Does anyone understand why this is proving a problem for OO/Zotero? Is it the ODF document specification, or something else? Is there a timeline for fi…

Mea culpa. Forgot to click the custom directory flag. Problem solved. Rob

Vashonda, et al: The stunning rate of change and improvements to Zotero and within Firefox, creates challenges at the margins. I am sure that somebody (likely plural!) is working very late hours at Zotero to try to keep up with the onslaught of …

The only thing I'd say about a blog is that it would be nice to be able to have graphics in any instructions/tutorials... but I don't care about the medium, it is the message that interests me!
