Hi, just giving this a bump. Translators are in javascript and I have no idea what I'm doing in JS. Is it better to report this as an issue in Github?
-
My apologies follks - missed this the other day when I posted my question. Question answered https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/76787/moving-pdfs-back-to-default-location-after-using-zotfile

Thank you so much @dstillman. Much appreciated.

Ahhh - I wasn't using Zotero PDF reader. I've just switched to Zotero's PDF reader (quit and reopened) and re-exported the annotations but no luck (see https://www.evernote.com/l/AFL-q2y5pjRMOq4oVQlC-QS6jufSXVRO5_k). Is this because my PDF is store…

Thanks @hsiangyu_wong - downloaded and looks great. Thanks

I do something similar with tags. You can also colour up to ten tags, so the records that need reading are well highlighted. See https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#:~:text=the online library.-,Tags,-The Tag Selector

Thanks @dstillman - that's helpful. The pref.js file had not been updated since Oct 2020. When I checked user permissions for the folder containing the prefs.js I did have read and write access but when I check the prefs.js file itself it says 'ev…
-
Hi @dstillman, thanks for your reply. I checked the Zotero profile directory before opening Zotero and there was a prefs.js file saved. I also checked it and prefs.js exist after it closes and it was still there. I also checked that I have read an…

I should also note that I have double-checked with ICT to ensure there is no security or firewall that would be affecting the installation and they have confirmed there is nothing on their end.

Thank you @bwiernik and @damnation

Good memory! I removed the recommended text and all four authors' names are now appearing - like the bibliography. However, the journal style wants only the first author but no 'et al'. In other words, the footnote should behave as if using 'et al' …
-
Thank you for your replies. @bwiernik, I just want to remove the et al from the footnotes. All authors names should appear in the bibliography - which is appearing correctly. @damnation, the journal is Law, Technology and Humans (https://lthj.qut.…

You are a genius @adamsmith - thank you very much!
-
Thank you @dstillman - that did the trick!

Hi all, I've followed @alex.mitrani instructions and used Zotfile to store all my pdf files on OneDrive and that worked well! On my personal computer I have stored the files in the following location 'users/AaronMBP/OneDrive/Research/ZoteroStorage'…

Thank you @dstillman.

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to review this error report? The error is still occurring every time JurisM attempts to syncs (manually or automatically) Thank you. Aaron
-
Thanks @adamsmith!
-
Thank you very much @djross3 and @bwiernik for your replies. Yes, I'll be switching to Juris-M after this project. Thank you again.

Thank you very much @adamsmith

My two cents on this...I had the same problem. In trying to resolve a secondary error that emerged after deleting 50% of the document (as per step 8 above) I had to restart Word and Zotero. After this, I tried refreshing the entire doc (100%) again …
-
Thanks @adomasven for your help. After reinstalling the plugin and testing it on a new document, everything works fine. When I try adding a new citation in my thesis, however, the error occurs again. So the thesis is the issue (in more ways than one…

The far majority of my Zotero generated footnotes in my thesis are appearing correctly. Maybe only 10-20% of Zotero generated footnotes have either (or both) an extra line break or no space between the footnote number and the citation.
-
Thanks @adamsmith. Sorry, I should have mentioned, I am having the same issue with the extra line break as well, although less frequent. Also, if it was a LO footnote styling issue, wouldn't it effect all my footnotes?
-
Unfortunately, I'm having the same issue and updating to 5.0.35.1 didn't resolve it for me. I'm using Mac OS 10.13.3 and LO 5.4.4.2. Even when adding a new citation, there is no space between the footnote number and the actual citation (even if ther…

Thank you @adamsmith! I ended up uploading the manuscript type to the visual editor. As you can see from this screenshot (https://www.evernote.com/l/AFIbKc7DTX5NEoijawSAQysvy0LdRulZiUc), the delimiter doesn't seem to be working (like what happened i…

Thanks @LiborA! Is there a way to get an example of a manuscript in the visual editor window under example citations? I'm having trouble locating where exactly to add the prefix in the visual editor (see https://www.evernote.com/l/AFJgqlsVf-NCMqSSkV…

Thank you to you all. I have uploaded the item to Zotero group library for testing. Currently, the citation appears: South Australia, *Parliamentary Debates*, Legislative Council, 28 September 2011 3991 [* denoting italics]. The citation should …

I just OCR'd the file using Readeris and the annotations are saving correctly - thankfully! Must have been a permissions/copyright protection thing...
