Feature request - 'Read/unread' and 'Important' flags

Hello,
I love the Zotero interface, and personally I would really take advantage of the addition of two more columns in the works list (that I have seen in another program):
- An 'Important' flag (e.g. a "!" or a star), to mark really crucial papers.
- A 'To read' or 'Read/Unread' flag, so to keep track of the papers we have already read (this is just as for e-mails).

I do something similar with tags. You can also colour up to ten tags, so the records that need reading are well highlighted. See https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#:~:text=the online library.-,Tags,-The Tag Selector

@aarontimo Maybe you'd like try this plugin, Zotero Tag https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-tag .

It can automatically add '/unread' for new items, and remove it after you opened it.

Interesting, especially if coupled with the Colorizing part (which I didn't know! It adds a coloured square next to the work type icon). There could be one for 'Unread' and one for 'Important', that we could assign by pressing "1" and "2".
This, in practice, solves the lack.

You can also add an emoji instead of a colour.

@malev I guess colored tags and emoji tags are the different things: items with colored tag will have a coloured square mark. However, items with emoji tags won't.
Also, emojis makes searching the tag difficult.
