I don't understand what you suggest. These lines are currently present in the translator https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/RDF.js#L912-L914 and should import the cast members. Feel free to make a pull request in GitHub directly or ex…

PR is now merged and this translator will come over the usual updates within the next hours for all Zotero users.
-
Can you edit your message and do the code parts inside tag? Currently, not much seems to be visible for me.
-
Okay, I will use volume instead of issue for this information and delete the year in that.
-
BTW I used the tags as tags and mostly ignored the keywords. Is that okay?
-
> I've seen these cited with the year as the volume number and "SI 1" "SI 2" as the issue number. But it seems that this is becoming a monster. Well, the year we already have as the date and I personally don't think that "SI 1" is a very clear …

What about the special issues? E.g. http://www.atsinternationaljournal.com/index.php/2018-issues/special-issue-2018-vol2/989-dynamic-traffic-safety-grade-evaluation-model-for-road-sections-based-on-gray-fixed-weight-clustering

The volume vs. issue number is really strange here: They are using "Issues per Year" but especially the special issues within a year are numbered then by volume 1, 2, ... Thus, in the end we have a continuous numbering starting from 1, besides a num…

I just tried it with my second browser Chrome, which I can restart easier, and it seems to work as expected. Please try again and possible restart your browser.
-
It should work in the browser as well. I will test this later. However, sometimes I need to restart my browser in order to see new translators there.

@adamsmith Usually the comma is used in the AU/ED field for splitting the lastname from the first name. However, when there more than one comma in these fields then we could follow your suggestion to treat this as a list of creators. That sounds oka…

Okay, first draft is here: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/2003 . Please test it and give me feedback.
-
Should be fixed now and come with the next update of your translators.
-
There is no metadata or BibTeX or anything on that file. Thus, one would need to scrape it from the website directly. As a content management system Joomla is used for their websites I hope that the structure is constant and therefore possible to wr…

Hm... that structure changed in youtube again, but it is fixable with text(doc, '#upload-info #channel-name'). However, I suggest that we choose another field for the youtube channel. Director seems not appropriate for me. Maybe Series Title or cont…

I think we can extract that information from language attribute of the main article part, i.e. attr(doc, 'article[role="main"]', 'lang'). I will prepare a PR for that.

Just some days ago I worked again on this and have now a first prototype of a Zotero plugin using Tesseract OCR: https://github.com/UB-Mannheim/zotero-ocr . There are several TODOs, hard coded things and prerequisites to have installed, but it is al…

Maybe also have a look at Tropy https://tropy.org/ as an alternative.
-
I would suggest that you look at the Bibliontology RDF export translator instead. This seems much more tailored to be used with other linked data. There the author nodes are not blank nodes but receive an nodeID.
-
There are some fields (e.g. conference name, university, software developer) which are only meaningful for one or a few types. There is no advantages here to make _all_ fields available to all types; on contrary, I expect that this makes it much har…

This is now fixed — thanks for reporting. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.
-
Okay, good to know. The translator fix is easy to do. Hopefully, I can finish that soon.
-
Are these journals, which do this, from the same institution? Then it might be better to ask them for a fix directly. However, we can also fix this in the translator, which is easy enough. The journal abbreviation can never be 1 and therefore we can…

The import of this .enw file seems to work. Some fields are maybe not yet mapped and multiple values are probably not handled well for some fields. Therefore the Zotero translator could be improved, but this is not a general problem. However, when …
-
This should already work exactly as you describe it by pressing CMD and +. There should also be a hidden preference "extensions.zotero.scaffold.fontSize" where the value is saved for the next start.
-
Okay, that is the problem. It is IMO strange that these namespace links are proxied as well. We can try to handle that case in the translator code by either unproxy all the links in the PNX file or adapt the namespace definitions in ns. However, I w…
-
No, the problem is the PNX data as the debug info above showed. The error message is thrown from this line: https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/Primo Normalized XML.js#L57 Can you copy and paste the complete XML somewhere online, e.g.…
