The error indicates that the problem might be your PNX data when you are loged in. However, this is not a general problem, as I just checked our Primo where I can also save entries to Zotero when loged in. Can you please log into Primo, search for …
-
Is "software" the correct DC.type for that? What happens if you use "computerProgram" instead?
-
The problem with your Primo is that Zotero cannot access the PNX data. This should be similar to adding "showPnx=true" to an url in the browser, which does not work for your Primo as well.
-
@dstillman What is in these debug logs? Anything to see where the problem might be?

This is now fixed — thanks for reporting. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences. Any further problems let us know…

@adamsmith Any reason not to implement this (label -> extra/Citation Key) in the official translator? It seems that this would be fine for all users in this thread. (Sample XML-file from Endnote would be needed for that as well.)

There already exist a Zotero CLI: https://github.com/jbaiter/zotero-cli

The problem is that the RIS data that HeinOnline provide is not valid anymore. You can see that, when you click on "Cite" on the left side of the website and then go down the list to "Export to RIS file". This file is what Zotero will also use. Ther…

You need to start with a backup file ctv5bak of your project, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/import-from-citavi . (The normal ctv5 file of your project is actually SQLITE file, but we need ctv5 file which is a XML representation. You "see" th…

This used to work, but apparently Youtube changed something. I try to look into this. Please note that your rule will not work in non-English countries, as I for example see "Am ... veröffentlicht"

The inconsistency comes from _their_ metadata using tags for journal articles on the one side and categorizing the items correctly as "preprints" in _their_ crossref data along with minting the DOI on the other side. It would be possible to create a…

Maybe a Zotero Plugin is interesting for you. I have started with one focusing open citations, see https://github.com/zuphilip/zotero-open-citations . Feel free to fork it, adapt it, change it, extend it.

Try to update your translators manually: https://www.zotero.org/support/connector_preferences#advanced_preferences

Should work now also for such invalid JSON-LD data from WSJ.
-
Maybe another approach would be to introduce a "type" for chapters. We already have something like this for reports and thesis. However, it could be more suitable to fix the allowed values then.
-
Okay, I see that too. This is an example where the JSON-LD data they provide is not valid. I try to circumvent this in the translator. Stay tuned.

Yes, for example one could have the citations "Bethge, in: Sachs (Hrsg.), Grundgesetz" and "Kokott, in: Sachs (Hrsg.), Grundgesetz Kommentar" in the footnotes, which will both lead to the following entry in the list of references Sachs, Michael (Hrs…

I spoke with several PhDs in legal sciences in Germany, which told me that Zotero works really well for them, after you have figured out the workflow. They are using the "encyclopediaArticle" for commentaries and take the duplicate items of the whol…

Yes, three AU lines would be correct. (The fastest way to see these things is most of the time to export an example from Zotero into RIS, because Zotero is usually following the standards.)
-
Great work! I see that things are working as you described them. Some considerations: 1. If I try to cite a retracted paper in Word, then I will see the warning where the last sentence indicates that I can view the item in my library, but the only …
-
Okay. I changed it in transifex. This then should come within the next update.
-
From the latest commit in Zotero's GitHub repo it looks that such a functionality will come into Zotero itself. No need for a plugin then.
-
You can find all collections an item is and also their names, cf. https://github.com/zuphilip/zotero-open-citations/blob/374e4bca4c7bf7358e2bcd6b52a58a4650cefee3/chrome/content/zoteroopencitations.js#L132-L134 for an example.

There is also a lookup service for GoogleScholar under the the "Find" menu (green button to the right).

> There's an open PR for that, though I'm still a little conflicted about some of them where it feels a bit more like the name of a specific Zotero action than a general command. Possibly some actions like "Create Bibliography" are more Zotero s…

In English there are always the verbs at the beginning: show online, add note, duplicate item, move item to trash. That does not work equally in German and therefore we have always the verbs at the end: Online anzeigen, Notiz hinzufügen, Ausgewählte…

After restarting my computer and waiting a little longer for the first time when exporting, it now seems to work again as usual. Sometimes when I do such longer sessions w/o restart I also have problems with explorer.exe etc. I guess this was also s…
