Zotero will automatically reupload stored files to a new WebDAV server, but if Convert Linked Files to Stored Files did anything, you had linked files, which wouldn't have been on WebDAV to begin with.

Your group has file editing disabled. You can change that from the group settings.

I would assume it’s the PDF preview. Does the problem go away if you collapse the Attachments section or right click the header and disable the attachment preview?

Notes in tabs don't take up the full window width. There's a margin to keep a reasonable line length.
