Oh, well, and you should start by disabling all your other Word add-ins. That's very likely to be the problem.
-
What it says is that you should test in a new, empty document and see if you can reproduce it there. But a Word crash is a Word bug, so you'd want to make sure you're running the latest version.

You need to fix the permissions on the copied files in your Zotero data directory. You can do that from Get Info in Finder, but we're not able to provide general OS guidance here, so you'll need to seek help elsewhere for that. This isn't a Zotero p…

See here for instructions: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#restoring_your_zotero_data_from_a_backup1 If you're still having trouble, share a screenshot of your data directory.
-
You should also update to the latest version of Chrome. You're on an outdated version.
-
And you're sure this is in Chrome? What you're describing is the behavior you would get in Firefox. Have you disabled all other browser extensions?
-
Example URL? It's working for me.
-
The Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents steps linked from that dialog will by definition isolate the problem if you follow them precisely. They also ask for specific information if you're still having trouble, which we'll need to help…

What's the exact message you're seeing? Don't paraphrase or translate. I'm pretty sure that's not a message in Zotero. What URL are you trying to save from? Also, I'm not sure why you're saying "I am unable to add Zotero connector on my mac" when …

There are some general problems saving PDFs from ScienceDirect that we're working on, but you should save from the article page, not the PDF, on ScienceDirect and all other supported sites.
-
If you're referring to CNKI, they're blocking your export. If you're using an official translator, we can look at any example URL. If you're using a third-party plugin with customized translators, you'd have to report this to the plugin developers.
-
Sorry about that. Should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting.

That error means what it says — the server isn't returning the appropriate DAV header for the URL you're using. You'd have to debug this yourself. Zotero works with all properly configured WebDAV servers. (I don't know what "log into my self hosted…

You can't connect to Zotero from your browser. The local API also doesn't have anything to do with an API key online. For help with pyzotero, you'd have to ask the pyzotero developer. We can only help with a direct curl request.
-
The other examples should be fine, yes.
-
Fixed, thanks.

You can send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you’re able to share it privately, but we can’t investigate without an example.
-
You can script that with the JavaScript API: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/client_coding/javascript_api (Do not modify the DB directly.)
-
I don't think it's actually optimal behavior, but yes, that's how it currently works. I think it would be more correct to show all entries in each feed but share the read state between feeds.
-
Can you explain (in your own words) the exact steps you're taking, step by step, and what you see at each step?
-
Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins? If so, can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing it?
-
That's not a Debug ID from Zotero startup. See what I asked for above.
-
(Specifically, see the last step on Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents, linked from that error dialog.)
-
A request timeout would be some sort of problem with your internet connection. I'm afraid that's all we can tell you. Your connections to Zotero servers seem fine.
-
Does it still happen in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins? Can you link to a document where you can reproduce this, and provide the exact steps?
-
Report ID? What OS version and word processor versions? That's obviously not the normal behavior. Are you saying it works properly if you use the toolbar buttons?
-
You can't store your data directory in Dropbox, and we're not able to provide any support for such a setup (which generally would've required you to click through a warning not to do that): https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/data_directory_in_cloud_…

Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean?
