What do you mean by "purged from my library"? You have over 400 MB of files online. No other files have ever been uploaded, since you were at your storage quota. Now that you have more space, assuming you haven't changed the default settings, simpl…

There's no need to rehash the manual repair instructions. That page explains the basic process, and if people can't transpose those to Windows/Linux, they shouldn't be running them. But also, these days, most people are using syncing, and a much bet…

@teresabarker: See above.

@asdf.hans: Please report issues in new threads. There's no reason to think interface bugs or almost any other issues have anything to do with the architecture.

That has existed since 2019. https://www.zotero.org/blog/retracted-item-notifications/

Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that results in an error? Is this from an internet connection with a slow upload speed?
-
It's available in the beta.

Dragging a file creates a copy by default. The file in your Zotero data directory was renamed. https://www.zotero.org/support/attaching_files#stored_files_and_linked_files
-
Provide a screenshot and a Debug ID for reproducing it.
-
No, that's not what it says. Your files on disk are being renamed, and unless you're actually changing the metadata after adding the item, you don't need to run that command at all.

OK, a lot of confusion here. 1) That's your web browser, and specifically Firefox — not your "computer" and not Word. 2) You have the Zotero web library loaded. You can't cite from that. You need the Zotero desktop app, which you can get from the …

We'd want to see another Debug ID.

There's no "Z" button in the toolbar in Word. Again, please share some screenshots of what you're referring to.

You should figure out what tool created this data and let us know, but our options to fix bad data like this automatically aren't great. Zotero does have a tool that lets you split or delete long tags that were incorrectly concatenated in exported …
-
Right, so you imported all of those from a file exported from somewhere. Those weren't saved from the Zotero Connector.
-
But I’m asking where exactly you saved the item from. Again, this doesn’t happen from the PubMed page, and it should never happen when saving from the Zotero Connector. If it does, we can fix it. The Zotero Connector fixes all sorts of bad data serv…

You’ll need to follow the instructions on that page and provide the requested info if you’re still having trouble.

View → Show Items from Subcollections aside, everyone in the group should see the same data, and if they don't, Changes Not Syncing would be the relevant troubleshooting page. How items are added to the library shouldn't be relevant. (When troubles…

Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing?
-
This should be fixed in the current version of Zotero.
-
You'd have to say what you're referring to. Cmd-G / Cmd-Shift-G already work in the reader. It looks like they don't work in the note editor. We'll fix that, but Return / Shift-Return work as long as the search field still has focus.

Zotero Connector 5.0.181 is now available for Chrome and Edge.

Zotero incorrectly maps its 'podcaster' field to CSL author rather than host This was mentioned by @bwiernik in another thread, but there was no conclusion about the best course of action. Happy to do whatever makes sense.

See Files Not Syncing. The account you're posting from has no uploaded data. The one group it's an admin of is owned by another account, and that account is at its free quota. Zotero would be showing a warning about that on every sync from computer…

We'd have to see another Debug ID to say for sure, but it's likely that you're still getting a 429 Too Many Requests error. Again, we should show a clearer error message, but there's not really anything else we can do. For automated requests, the ap…

If there are supported external annotations in the file, Import Annotations will be active and prompt whether to transfer those from the file into the Zotero database so they can be edited within Zotero. If you see locked annotations in the sidebar,…

We can consider that, but note that you don't need the mouse: Shift-Tab, space bar, down/up arrows, Enter, Tab. (On macOS you can just open the menu with the arrow keys without pressing space bar.)
