They're trimmed — it's just a visual bug in the text field. You can see that the item isn't actually saved with the whitespace, and if you click away and back it's gone. But we'll fix the text field — thanks.

Several of your groups are open public groups, which don't allow file editing. I'd assume that's what you're seeing.
