@hmyam: As above, if you're having trouble with a specific file, email it (or a link to it) to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
Can you provide a screenshot of what you're looking at? This still works the same way.
-
Email support@zotero.org.

The arXiv metadata service just appears to be down.
-
That's what it says — a 401 Unauthorized error from your WebDAV server.
-
In any case, I'd suggest creating a new Zotero profile (you can call it "default-new") and trying with that. If it creates a new, empty data directory (which it should), you should go to the Advanced → Files and Folders section of the Zotero setting…

That's not a Debug ID from using "Restart with Logging Enabled". It would show Zotero startup.
-
(You can also drag items to tags in the tag selector in the bottom left.)
-
It's still there. You can view annotations in the Annotations tab of the left sidebar and take notes and add annotations to notes in the Notes tab of the right sidebar.
-
Can you provide another Debug ID for this using “Restart with Logging Enabled”?
-
If you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a download attempt that fails, we can take a look, but it's almost certainly just a problem with your internet connection.
-
I'd guess that you're force-clicking on the trackpad. That can be set up to trigger the Look Up feature. The exact placement and parsing of the highlight is going to depend on the PDF and the quality of its text layer. It should be pretty accurate …
-
No, that's normal. The exact amount will depend on library size.
-
That's your data directory. I linked to instructions for finding your profile folder. They absolutely do not point you to your data directory.

Yes.

Start by updating to a current version of macOS. You're on 14.5, which is outdated. You should be on at least the latest version of Sonoma if not a more recent macOS release. If it still happens, we'd want to see a Debug ID (different from a Report…

But does it happen for all PDFs or only specific ones?
-
Is it the outline of the context menu from when you clicked "Create Bibliography"? (In other words, was the menu going upwards here from an item?)
-
You didn't answer my first two questions. Can you provide a screenshot of what you're referring to?
-
Weird. Is it always in the same position?
-
You should also try just restarting your computer if you haven't yet.
-
It's something else non-standard on your computer, then.
-
(Yes, they say they tried in Firefox too.)
-
You don't mention disabling all browser extensions, which is another step. Something within your browser or on your computer is blocking your browser from talking to the local Zotero app. I'm afraid that's all we can tell you.
-
If you're not comfortable running beta software, you should wait for the next release. I was just letting you know that a fix is available to test.
-
@threay, @henrikhosszu: Please try the latest beta, 8.0-beta.18.
-
You tried too many times with the wrong password and were temporarily blocked. If you haven't resolved this, try again now or reset your password.

For syncing, see Changes Not Syncing. For APA, you'd have to provide specific examples. For sentence case specifically, see How do I get titles to show up in sentence case in bibliographies?

There's not currently a plugin for Word on mobile devices, but we're working with Microsoft to make that possible. The next app update will include citation/bibliography generation that you could use to copy citations/bibliographies to Word, but no…
