Oh, sorry, I mixed this up with another thread. Disregard what I said. Sure, you can certainly restore that one folder. But it's just one attachment file. You can likely just re-add the PDF.

If you mean that you already switched accounts, yes. Doing so deletes all local data (as it warns), and since you were at your storage quota, any local files that hadn't been uploaded due to the quota would've been deleted. The warning says to make …

Out of curiosity, what was it?
-
@Linco9: We would need a Debug ID for Zotero startup from you as well to say whether this is the same issue.
-
(This is assuming you didn't already switch accounts and delete your local data when prompted.)
-
There's nothing to migrate. You should delete the new account and add your institutional email address to your current account.
-
(And Zotero 8.0.2 will stop transferring the DOI when creating a book section from a book within Zotero.)
-
We haven't received any other reports of this. Can you provide some screenshots that show the problem and a Report ID? Can you reproduce the problem in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)?
-
That's not an official Zotero plugin. We have nothing to do with that, and they should make that clear. As I say, the official Word plugin works only with the local version of Word.
-
You can just type the page number after choosing the item (or even before choosing the item if you use "p" (e.g., "p123") to distinguish it from a search term). Even if you use the mouse, it's not "a few clicks". It's literally just clicking on the…
-
This would generally be due to security software on your system preventing Zotero from making changes to its own data directory.
-
Sorry, downloading of files larger than 2 GB is currently broken. We'll have a fix soon, but for now, you'd have to ignore it or delete those attachments in the web library and empty them from the trash. You can paste Y3WLTF3C and P78PYHE3 into the…
-
As I mentioned in the other thread, you should try the Zotero beta. If that doesn't help, and you can't reproduce it easily, provide a Report ID after it occurs.
-
This message is harmless, but it's fixed in Zotero 8.
-
If it still happens in Troubleshooting Mode, try the Zotero beta and let us know if you're still seeing it with that. If so, provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing the problem, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with…

Please try the Zotero beta and let us know if you're still seeing it. If so, provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing the problem, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.

Same answer.

@iliyan: FWIW, this probably was due to different authentication handling in Zotero 8: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/506864/#Comment_506864 (It wouldn't have happened with all WebDAV servers, which is why it would seem like it was t…

Please try the latest Zotero beta, which includes a fix for this. Thanks to @dayepao for the detailed report.

And not in Troubleshooting Mode?
-
If you clear the extensions.zotero.postUpgradeBannerVersionShown pref in settings → Advanced → Config Editor (at the bottom) and restart, do you still see the problem?
-
Yeah, nothing to do with the cert. There's a difference in how Z8 handles HTTP authentication that causes problems with some servers. We're looking into it.
-
@maydaycp: But can you also provide a Report ID?
-
Oh, but: [JavaScript Error: "Error(s) encountered during statement execution: disk I/O error" {file: "resource://gre/modules/Sqlite.sys.mjs" line: 0}] Do you have your Zotero data directory on a network drive or in another non-standard location?
-
Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) from Zotero for reproducing this? (We only ever want ids here, not raw error or debug output.)
-
Not currently, but it's coming.
-
For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
