Thank you. I can confirm that I am not seeing this issue in beta 67.

All data (plus text in your notes) syncs for free, so you don't lose that even without a storage subscription. The attachment files (and images in notes) won't be stored beyond the 300 MB limit on Zotero's servers, but any computer you have synced …

Steps to reproduce: 1. Delete a pdf attachment from an item. The pdf icon next to the item description stays. 2. Empty trash. The icon disappears. Here is a video: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ctzncwi8yk9xgkh01iipn/Deleted-Attachment-Icon.mov?rl…

One related (very minor) issue remains. Upon deletion of a PDF attachment, the PDF icon on the right side does not disappear, unless you restart Zotero or delete the PDF from the Trash.

This appears to be no longer a problem in beta.64. Thanks if this was fixed.
-
@gustms Thanks for confirming. That's my plan, too, but I wanted to report before I clear this issue.
-
Just realized that this can also happen as I quickly scroll through my library, and one of the items do not show an attachment icon, which then turns to a non-descript document icon and not the pdf icon. And stays that way. In Zotero 6, the items mi…

That figure displays fine in Zotero 7 beta, which has an updated pdf viewer. If you can install the beta (some plugins are not updated and it is still a beta), that will likely solve your problems.
-
This appears to be fixed now (sometime at or before 1.0.0-47). Thanks!

This appears to be fixed in beta57. Thanks!

That's not the Accessed field that citations/bibliography may use. That's when you added the item to Zotero and the last time you modified the item. That was not editable. The Accessed field (Accedido) is here, and it is editable: https://s3.amazon…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citation_Style_Language In Word, if you choose toggle field code for a citation, you could see the underlying csl fields as inserted by Zotero or Mendeley. Not sure how that works in LibreOffice.
-
Maybe I misunderstood your sequence of events, but one uses "Add Bibliography" where you want the bibliography inserted. If you want the bibliography at the end, you click at the end of you document, and then click Add/Edit Bibliography. Once you a…

Try restarting the app. The update might have been downloaded and be ready to install upon restart. In that case, Zotero used to have a habit of not showing the update (at least on Macs; may or may not have been fixed).

It might be this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/451390/#Comment_451390 In short, if you install Zotero 7 beta, the CAPTCHA window now appears in the Zotero app, allowing you to save the pdf while using the browser plugin.

Ek monitor kull…

I have epub annotations in my library, so this https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/451995/#Comment_451995 explains the error message ("Some data ...") I got above. The View Debug crash issue remains, though.

My sync of the entire library eventually finished after five or six stop-and-go's, and syncing has been great since then. Shutting down the app and restarting it helped initiate and complete the first sync. I have about 10,000 entries. Syncing a sma…

Here is a debug ID for one of the repeated timeout errors: D1940242568

In another 15 minutes or so, the sync died again with the same "Error timeout" at 5403 items. Had to restart sync (by pull-down gesture) to let it continue.

It may be useful to read about how to use Zotero's word processor plugins here: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage Check specifically under "Citations with Multiple Cited Items". If you are following this already, you may n…

The EndNote file is not useful. But you can request a new CSL style. The instructions for how to request are here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md Please follow the instructions closely to help the volun…

Any chance you had set up a second account, signed up with a different email, and you were syncing your data to it?
-
Data is unlimited with Zotero. Free. The storage limit only applies to attachment files (like PDFs). There is a good chance all your data is on Zotero, and all you have to do is set up syncing again on your computer. You can confirm by clicking on …

you mean, I should change my word document preferences to English? Not the Word Preferences. The Zotero plugin in Word has its own Document Preferences Window (the button for it is to the right of the "Add Note" button) in the Word ribbon/tab for Z…

I might have misunderstood you, but Zotero is not a filesystem. Your collections and subcollections are not folders. A paper (item) can be under multiple collections, so there is no absolute or direct path for it. If you are trying to find which co…

Uninstalling/reinstalling Zotero does not remove your data. When you reinstall, your data and attachment files will still be there and should be recognized (unless you moved your data to a non-default location - then you'd have to let the newly inst…

I don't think this happens in Mac OS. The top and the tab bars are one and the same. Looks like an issue in Ubuntu, though.
-
For this item, Google Scholar, Springer/Journal Website, and Pubmed all have correct data. Or at least, the data is correct when you use the Zotero translator (that's the Zotero button you have in your browser) on those websites. So, I am curious ho…

Any chance those items are entered into Zotero where all authors are listed as one? As adamsmith said, it would help to copy/paste exactly how the citation appears in Word for a few of those here.
