Bibliographic entry added without note?

Hi,

I have a paper with a bibliography mystery. In the paper (I'm using a Chicago-esque style, the AMA style) the notes skip from 12 to 14. But in the bibliography, there is a citation #13! I don't know how the bibliography became different from the inserted citations, or why there would be a missing citation #. I have refreshed several times and tried switching the citation style but it didn't fix the issue. Please help!

    There is probably an incompletely deleted Word field, which is how Zotero stores your citation information. By toggling field codes (you can google how to do that) and searching specifically for information within that citation 13, you should be able to find that citation.

    Once you find it, you can toggle off the field codes, delete and re-insert the citation if you want.
