Is this for a specific journal? I have an inkling that this is just a mistake in the author guidelines. (after making several hundred citation styles, I can tell you this is extremely common...)

It's very uncommon, but not at all hard to achieve. What's the prerequisites how the bibliography should look like? Is there written guidelines for this style?

SJG is a dependent style of Springer - SocPsych (author-date). We had another german style here the other day (Sportwissenschaften) that was also a dependent of that and seemed to be incorrect. Might look like Springer changed something.

@rewa Da es ein Fußnotenstil ist, aber ich das auf dem infoclio-de basieren könnte ich das für €100 machen. Bräuchte dann noch eine Beispielpublikation nebst den Richtlinien, zu denen du oben schon verlinkt hast.

Hi, I just checked and the style implements this correctly. Are you sure you're using the correct style? The JPNSS style also doesn't produce a doi, so that looks like you're not using that style.
