And it handles links with multiple reserved characters just fine: https://www.safetylit.org/citations/index.php?fuseaction=citations.viewdetails&citationIds[]=citjournalarticle_721064_9 CMD-click to follow the link on my Mac using LO.

@adamsmith Back at my desktop and this works for me (Mac : LO 7.1.3.2). Is autocorrect while typing ticked in your settings?

In LibreOffice [Mac] Menu Tools → AutoCorrect Options... → Options tab → --- URL Recognition [This should change the default paragraph style.] For already-existing text you may need to select all (paragraph) and Menu Format → AutoCorrect → Appl…

I presume that you mean using Zotero File/Import. Please verify that the extension is not ".ris.txt" in your Mac file system or some similar thing. edit: Where did you obtain / download the RIS file? Please copy the first 10 lines of the file …

Should "no place" be "sl" or SL instead of "np"? I don't recall ever seeing "np" I only recall SL in citations and bibliographies.

The direct (USDofEd) ERIC database works fine with Zotero. I haven't recently tried linking to full text to get PDF files into Zotero from ERIC.

You didn't tell us the style you are using but I believe that this will work with most styles: put the original date into the Extra field as original-date: 1911 The bibliography should be formatted properly with both dates included.

Today I imported a letter to the editor that has more than 600 authors. The letter itself is only about 250 words.

@Bani1368 I am guessing that you used Word's built-in citation tool and further that the citations are not yet records in your Zotero library. Although there isn't a utility to directly capture and convert your Word citations into Zotero records; t…

I would find 2FA horribly inconvenient because I don't have confidential material in my Zotero library and I have my computer and tablet password protected and securely in my possession. At work, if I'm away from my desk even for a moment I place my…

Please do this. I use stacked view (if that matters). No matter what monitor I've used over the years, when I click away from the list to edit the record; I too find it very difficult to distinguish the very subtle shades of gray.

Do you subscribe to an MDPI daily topical email update. (The doi you provide above is to an MDPI journal.) I suspect that may be the source of your problem. ARTN is sometimes a prefix to an ARTicle Number from an MDPI journal. I have encountered thi…

What bibliographic style? Please explain what you mean by "old" citation. Are you saying that the first reference entry is accurate but that subsequent (op. cit.) reference listings are flawed? [If so, that is a curious issue.] Are you saying that…

Click on the "Debug ID" link in dstillman's message above. That will explain how.

Please provide more information. What style? Provide examples of the author names with problems. Explain further what you mean, "I fixed the first names of authors with publications in the same year". You will not need to "cut out all the referenc…

Exporting from PubMed to an nbib file then importing into Zotero works flawlessly. Select the PubMed records you want Send to : Citation manager Create file Use the Zotero file Import by selecting the nbib file you downloaded.

This has moved beyond my comfort zone. Someone else will need to help. i don't know if the PMID is included in that CSL style. However, please try adding the references using the add citation icon / dropdown instead of dragging. That isn't likely t…

You need to say more about your problem and provide specific examples of the style, how the items were brought into Zotero, from which database(s), what you see , and what you want to see. Records from PubMed will contain both the DOI and PMID. The…

As a new user you may not be aware of how trivially easy it is to change from one citation style to another. It is easy to take a manuscript that you assigned one style and then make it another style (a bit of editing might be needed to make the pro…

Please understand that you are asking for Zotero to serve a purpose other than the one that led hundreds of thousands of users to select it. What you are requesting will likely inconvenience me and other users of Zotero who want to take advantage of…

It is far from unusual to have duplicate / non-duplicate issues with databases even with important ones such as PubMed. Database curators handle these problems in accordance with the rules and conventions of the database and within the constraints i…

Mendeley's system does this successfully only sometimes, at best. The updated metadata is often completely wrong -- even that from Elsevier journals. Often the Mendeley updated metadata differs from metadata listed with the Scopus database (I think …

This is _not_ a Zotero bug. Please re-read my comment immediately above. Please contact the Document Foundation and report this bug in LO Writer.

Thomas Nelson Publishers / Word Books has listed at least both cities over the years as its corporate headquarters. Another one is Arlington, TX. Source: Bowker I haven't checked to see if style standards have explicit rules about the publication…

@adamsmith is right to point out the ease of removing the name disambiguation feature from APA or any other style. But I caution you not to do this. University professors can sometimes (quite wrongly, in my opinion) take considerations of reference …

Well, there might possibly be a plug-in some time in the future to allow easier identification of author names in need of unification in Zotero records. However, as of now this process must be done manually through one's knowledge of the literature …

Please calm your fury and carefully review the link about name disambiguation. It can be frustrating when this happens if one cannot immediately identify a problem with author names in their Zotero library. @conleycd If you will provide specific exa…

If you follow @bwiernik 's advice please be sure to save-as a version of your document with Zotero field codes and only delete the fields from a new copy. I have successfully followed that delete-codes and undo advice. But one time I didn't pay clos…

You will probably need to provide more information about your problem. Please explain what you are attempting to refresh. What exactly does not update? Your document? A Zotero record? The Zotero software? Are you asking about the Zotero website? Th…

I know that I've seen a Zotero that is quite similar to the Vancouver but numbered in alphabetical order instead of order of appearance but I too can't find it listed under Vancouver. However, when a repository search is performed using "alphabetic…
