    by kzornada · March 31, 2024
I have imported records into Zotero from ProQuest, to which I have access through my institution (see first photo).
  2. Proquest article access

    by dstillman · March 30, 2024
This doesn't really have much to do with Zotero. ProQuest is a subscription database that (generally? always?) doesn't allow any access without a subscription. So a link to ProQuest wouldn't be access
  3. Proquest article access

    by TanyaDean · March 29, 2024
New to Proquest -- I click on a Proquest/eLibrary source saved in Zotero collection and am directed to a Proquest login page instead right through to my univ access. (EBSCO works w/o more logging in)
  4. Zoterobib - Gale Links

    by jmarkus · February 22, 2024
I use Zoterobib with all of our other subscription databases without issue (EBSCO, ProQuest, etc.). I have the connector set up and that does not make the links work. Is there more information about t
  5. Ebsco flavor of ERIC error

    by bjuhl · February 22, 2024
I think this may just be the encoding on this database but surprised I've just now noticed it. EBSCO ERIC is giving an error this morning on save with the connector (tested in Firefox and Chrome) "A

perfect, got it. (BTW., you can used ProQuest links without accountid: the account gets added automatically by IP )
  7. "Link to external site" problem

    by stacy_test · February 16, 2024
A couple of problems: I can't construct URLs that will work for you because the URL has to include your library's ProQuest account number, and I have no way to know what yours is. So I had to put a pl
  8. "Link to external site" problem

    by adamsmith · February 16, 2024
We'd want links to items for which you can currently reproduce this. I understand they'll be gated, but I have pretty broad ProQuest access here.
  9. "Link to external site" problem

    by stacy_test · February 16, 2024
Some context: The problem occurs when you save an item from a database on the ProQuest platform, but it doesn't affect all items. Specifically, it occurs when there's a link out to an author's ORCID p

  11. ProQuest not recognizing Item Type

    by miesmart · February 15, 2024
I have students accessing library resources using ProQuest. If a student is using Safari or Firefox (have yet to test with Edge) and save an Article with browser plug in Zotero will save the metadata
  12. what do i do when i receive this message please?

    by susandubay · January 12, 2024
Zotero detected that you are accessing www.proquest.com through a proxy. Would you like to automatically redirect future requests to www.proquest.com through csu.idm.oclc.org?
  13. PDFs from databases without OCR?

    by bethanyann529 · January 12, 2024
I have very recently found that PDFs saved from Proquest and Ebsco I can no longer highlight and annotate in Zotero. Having done some poking around it seems that they are being treated as images and d
  14. Most efficient way I can use Zotero & EBSCO with the known translator issues?

    by dstillman · January 8, 2024
That's about ProQuest (as it says), not EBSCO. But saving many items at once from any site is potentially going to get you blocked by the site.
  15. Zotero not pulling in PDFs with DOIs

    by rsevier · December 7, 2023
Thanks for that feedback. It isn't working even when we have access through the publisher, like Wiley, but I suspect it is because we also have access to it through Proquest or Ebsco. It is frustratin
  16. Zotero not pulling in PDFs with DOIs

    by adamsmith · December 7, 2023
    3. I'd assume that Elsevier journals will generally fail currently and you won't benefit from access through aggregators like EBSCO, JSTOR, or Proquest -- Zotero follows the DOI and checks if PDFs are
