    by adomasven · February 16, 2024
@inselsbacher You have a very large file with 600 citations and Zotero has limited ability to improve the speed of Word integration on macOS due to techincal reasons. We are working with Microsoft to

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for pressing the Add/Edit Citation button in Word?
  6. Zotero 7 beta Word citation error: "unexpected error (35010)"

    by dstillman · February 16, 2024
This was almost certainly just some concurrent breakage in Word. The redesign didn't touch anything related to word processor integration, and the selected/open-items functionality was purely in the c
  7. Corrupted in-text citation starting in the middle of word document

    by dstillman · February 16, 2024
OK, I'm afraid those do indeed appear to be corrupted — the actual Word field codes are now showing up as plain text. Hard to say how that happened, but it looks like this document has been handled by
  8. Corrupted in-text citation starting in the middle of word document

    by dstillman · February 16, 2024
Oh right, Word's Toggle Field Codes context-menu option doesn't actually appear in footnotes for some odd reason. Alt-F9 should work to toggle these, but you should be able to click within the code an

Yeah, that's just the Word field codes. You should be able to right-click on it and select Toggle Field Codes.

    by tynnu · February 16, 2024
Hi, I transferred my document from Google doc to Word and seems like Zetero is working on the Word doc, but when I keep citing my paper from where I left over, the citation number starts from 1 again,
  14. Zotero 7 beta Word citation error: "unexpected error (35010)"

    by adamsmith · February 16, 2024
FWIW, I have gotten this exact message a couple of times since the new layout Zotero 7 beta. When it happens, it happens in every open Word doc on triggering any Zotero action, but it always goes away
  15. Zotero 7 beta Word citation error: "unexpected error (35010)"

I re-installed the Zotero add-in and restarted Word + Zotero. The problem has gone. Apologies for the trigger-happy forum post. (I'd delete the post if I could!)
  16. Zotero 7 beta Word citation error: "unexpected error (35010)"

    by dstillman · February 16, 2024
I don't think we've ever seen that before, and it wouldn't be related to Zotero 7. That's some problem in Word itself, not from Zotero.

I've encountered a few glitches with Zotero 7 citations in Word. The worst of them is today. I can't insert citations.

Beyond this specific issue, if you're working on a dissertation-length document, I would strongly recommend either not using Google Docs or breaking the document up into multiple chapters. Because Goo
  20. Error whit citation in Word - a dot appears without reason

    by adamsmith · February 15, 2024
