    by sterrevalkenburg · April 1, 2020
When I open a document in word or google docs, and I press on the Zotero bar and then add citation it does not show up so I cannot search a name. This is very strange to me as I worked with Zotero for
  2. Zotero not working with Google Docs

Simply disable Grammarly on docs.google.com from the extension icon. Allow the page to refresh. After, Zotero's functionality returns for adding in-text citations.
  3. Stuck on "Zotero is updating your document. Please wait" in Google Docs

    by dstillman · March 30, 2020
@jasmineHZ: Yes, the plugin won't work if you open a .docx file directly in Google Docs via Google Drive. It needs to be a native Google Doc document. We're going to see if we can add a clearer warnin
  4. Zotero experienced an error updating your document.

That's a .docx document that you're editing in Google Docs. That won't work. The plugin will only work with native Google Docs documents.
  5. Style Request: International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease

    by damnation · March 30, 2020
Might be leading in its field, but if no one requests a style (or submits one, or the journal itself hires one to do so...) then it won't be on the repository besides the 9000 other styles. ;)
  6. Click on citation to jump to Bibliography (Google docs)

    by urbanslug · March 30, 2020
I've been trying to figure out how to click on a citation and get it to jump to the bibliography in Google docs for a while now but all I get when I click on a citation is the option to edit it.
  7. Zotero Connector not working

Zotero is running. When I try and edit a bibliography in Google Docs, I get a message:

I'm afraid there's no way to restore unlinked citations, so you'd need to transfer the original document properly out of Google Docs to continue working with the citations in Word.
  9. Duplication of reference list with Zotero

    by dstillman · March 28, 2020
(The duplication shouldn't happen regardless, though, so we'll look into whether we can reproduce that when editing a bibliography in Google Docs. But that function has a very specific use case — addi
  10. Duplication of reference list with Zotero

    by dstillman · March 28, 2020
We've had a couple reports of citations becoming unlinked in Google Docs when cutting/copying citations, and we've fixed a possible cause of that for the next version. But if you're not seeing a citat

I will do. Any for the record, "revising the bibliography" means using the "add/edit bibliography" function in the Zotero Google Docs plug in to add some citations to the bibliography that is already
  12. Duplication of reference list with Zotero

    by gdr105 · March 28, 2020
Perhaps - I can just again try revising the bibliography in the same way. How it has been happening is when revising the bibliography, Zotero would "freeze up" during the update to Google Docs, and du

(And the Google Docs plugin shows a warning to that effect when you try to download an unprepared document with Zotero citations as .docx, as long as you've clicked within a Zotero citation in that se

If you use the Google Docs version history to revert to a version before this happened, can you reproduce it?
  15. Duplication of reference list with Zotero

    by gdr105 · March 28, 2020
I just had this same issue today with Zotero in Google Docs - about 115 pages of duplicated versions of a 1.5 page reference list. This kept happening again and again as I with each update I made to t

You can’t just download the Word document from Google Docs. First, you need to click the Zotero menu in Google Docs and click Switch Word Processors.

I'm afraid this is now coming down to the specifics of your document on why you're hitting this error. There is nothing in your debug log indicating that you are running into this issue because the pr

In a copy of the original 99 page google docs document in chrome the error reoccurs. When i made a copy of the document and cut it down to just chapter 10 (40% of the full document) the error did not

If you're using Zotero in google docs, you have the connector. The Link to the debug ID includes instructions on how to open the connector preferences:

If the connector is a different bit of software, it must be installed because i can add citations from google docs with a single click. It also asks me if i want to remove it if i attempt to download
