I have downloaded the google docs plugin to do citations for my thesis. I have a book in pdf format stored as reference, I want to cite different sections or chapters of this book in my Thesis bibliography area by putting a running sequence number, but when I tried doing this, it did not work. What is the way to do this ?

I have created one entry in Zotero database, how can I refer to various chapters or volumes in my Thesis Every time I try to use this reference, It goes back to the very first entry in the bibliography, What I want is something like the reference section of the article given below:

Alternatively, use a footnote/endnote style like Chicago Manual
