Okay. I might try to add it to the feature request forum. Is there a terminology for it? Would it just involve re-retrieving the new metadata, or are tags/notes included in metadata?

I second this. Having a search feature for the web view would be nice as well - we currently are planning to maintain our group library in Zotero, but also export to another citations manager because they have a web post feature that is searchable.
