I suspect these are huge annotation comment icons. The size of the icons is also not consistent across different PDFs. Huge: https://postimg.cc/7Jwm6rKQ Large: https://postimg.cc/mt2hYpJx Normal: https://postimg.cc/47gxmWVS

Given the announcement about the updated PDF reader, should this statement be amended? That said, Zotero 7 doesn't currently make any database upgrades, so you should be able to switch back and forth between Zotero 6 and 7 without problems.

It seems that hitting the enter key to exit the editing state causes the change to not be saved. However, if I click with the mouse outside of the text field to exit the editing state, then the change is saved.

Reproducible with 7.0.0-beta.22+676f820f8 as well. It seems that the new tag remains in the side pane until we select a different item in the main tree view. Upon switching back to the original item, the tag in the side pane reverts. Meanwhile, t…

I can no longer reproduce this using 7.0.0-beta.17+8017b2ab1 (64-bit). Not sure if this was fixed at some point, or if something changed on my end.

I just accidentally deleted a long annotation using the desktop app because of this. I think what happened was: 1. While the sidebar was closed, I clicked on an annotation that I wanted to edit. 2. Based on the cursor position, I wanted to hit up …

We don't have any plans to make the interface font (which would apply to annotations) customizable on either platform. I'd be interested in this feature, if plans do change. My annotations often involve math or code, so the ability to easily distin…

I captured a video of the search/zoom behavior (Q1). 1. Open a PDF and set the zoom level to "Zoom to Page Height". 2. Search for a term that exists on the current page. 3. Notice that the page shifts down when the search pattern matches are hig…

Here's a second example if it helps. The equation in Definition 1 on page 2 of the below PDF: https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.5555/1953048.2185803 See https://postimg.cc/940XRTs7

The first two equations (7.1) and (7.2) of the below document illustrate the problem (although less drastic than the above screenshots): https://archive.siam.org/books/cs22/cs22ch7.pdf See https://postimg.cc/kB8zX44v

I was about to create a new post but found this one. I am also experiencing this in version 6.0.23.

This actually does affect an iPad when in split view (Version 1.0.9 Build 4). See the below video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1psfL-HMCO4rBSM58EQhc7Qo3f-aoTQzm/view?usp=sharing When not in split view, I am able to swipe up on the annotation …

Thank you, that makes sense.

Actually, the small keyboard seems to appear after using the Apple pencil and then selecting "Show Keyboard". If I then select "Hide Keyboard", then the next time the keyboard appears it is full width. Perhaps that is intentional?
-
I think I found another way to reproduce this with Version 1.0.9 Build 4: 1. Using the library search field, enter a search pattern and then open a PDF from the results. 2. Tap on the 3 dots at the top of the screen, and then "New Window" at the bo…

I am unable to reproduce the problem using the beta, so it appears to be fixed. Thanks!

I managed to capture a few more Debug IDs using version 6.0.19: D955735545 and D1967864429

Upon more testing, the current behavior might be worse than described in the original post. Now, after closing and opening the PDF, the deleted annotation does not reappear.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this occurs on both an iPad and an iPhone.
