(Please start new threads for new issues. I've moved this to a new thread.) Can you say more? What OS and what exactly is happening?
-
@yuyusuf43: I'm not sure why you think you have the latest version? You're running Zotero 6.0.23 from March 2023.
-
That’s a message about EndNote, not Zotero.
-
We're aware of this. Thanks.
-
Likely a bug related to your signing in via the new passkey functionality. We're investigating. If you want to fix it right away, you can temporarily disable the passkey.
-
What do you mean by that, exactly? Can you provide some screenshots?

Please read through Etiquette before posting here further. In particular: The forums are not a place to vent frustration or anger. sometimes you’re the only person experiencing a particular problem This isn't any sort of known issue, so if you'd lik…

No, you appear to have 1.0.45, and you're running iOS 16.3.1. You need to update to iOS 16.6 or later, and then you'll receive the latest version of the app.
-
Make sure you're running the latest version of the app, 2.0.6.
-
No, that's not normal. We can't help with the Flatpak, but if you're seeing this with the tarball, provide a Debug ID for reproducing it.
-
Yes (or enable half at a time and cut down by halves).
-
Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer. If no…

Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID for reproducing this?
-
@pixiefollow: Same answer (but it's likely just the Attanger plugin).
-
We've relaxed the block.
-
In Troubleshooting Mode? Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this in Troubleshooting Mode, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
Confirm that it doesn't still happen, and then restart normally and enable plugins one by one until you find the one that causes it. (Likely something like Attanger that does something related to creating linked files.)

If you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this, we can take a look, but generally this would be a problem with your internet connection.
-
Install the current version of Zotero from the download page. You're using a very old version (Zotero 6).
-
Restart Zotero, and if you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID from Zotero for Zotero startup through reproducing the problem, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.

Not sure why you deleted most of your comment? To be clear, you showed screenshots of checking for updates in the Zotero app, not the Zotero Connector. The relevant version update is for the Zotero Connector, which you check in your browser's extens…

Please assume that the people responding to you here 1) generally know what they're talking about and 2) are trying to help you. I understand you're frustrated, but you don't need to fight with us. 5.0.209 is the Zotero Connector, not Zotero. That'…

Your attempt was with 5.0.208, not 5.0.209, which has come out since then and specifically address recent Google Docs changes. That's why I'm saying to try again with 5.0.209. Beyond that, unless you can completely clear the contents of the documen…

(If you were on a very old version, you would have to update multiple times from within the app to get onto Zotero 9. But you're also still on the 32-bit version, so you should just install the 64-bit version of Zotero from the download page over yo…

No, you're running Zotero 7. The latest version is Zotero 9, which doesn't even have a username and password field in the settings.
-
@katehendrickson: It sounds like you were trying to download the iOS app. As explained above, if you're not seeing the Mac download link on the download page, some extension for Safari that you're running — the only one we know of being AdBlock — i…

Ask your IT department to upgrade you to the latest version of Zotero. For security reasons, older versions are no longer able to log in for syncing, except immediately after a successful password reset.
