I don't want to delete the *items*, just the broken attachments.

It's an onerous task to go through thousands of entries, select just the pdfs and delete them. I'm looking for a tool that would remove all pdfs with broken links .

I have, but I am pretty sure they are gone. I've looked in the original storage directory and the one I moved it to.

Check that: I see what it's doing, it's set up a link in the zotero ibrary screen to the pdf in the shared folder. I think that will work pretty well.

OK, I see that. How do I use zotfile to just send *copies* of my pdfs to the shared folder, not move the pdfs?

Adamsmith's suggestion looks like it worked pretty well! I had previously exported via a bibtex library and it didn't include the pdfs.

This is a frustrating part of Zotero. I'm a brand new user, but honestly, this alone would send me back to Papers.
