Closing since dellblack has elected to delete all messages related to this thread and provides no further actionable reporting. In the interest of supporting the research of future internet sociologists, dellblack's original comments reproduced belo…

Zotero subscribers can pay via PayPal if Google Checkout isn't supported in their billing address country (e.g. South Korea). Since it's an annoying process that requires us to process the orders manually, we don't offer it generally. We accept ban…

Since mronkko is too modest to say so, allow me to suggest to rarturo to check out the ratings and reviews on those iOS apps and get back to us.

Thanks for contributing. If a style is identical to another, it should be created as a dependent style pointing to the original. Please see the following for an example: http://www.zotero.org/styles/french-historical-studies and the relevant spe…

Tim, No, you may not call him "Adam." For starters, it's not his name. We're happy to see that you've been learning a lot about Zotero with two dozen posts to these forums seeking support in just two days. Given the thoughtful and generous respons…

Problem fixed and pull request opened. Thanks, Simon, for finding this.

adamsmith is correct. It's just an artifact of the Google Checkout system.

If we billed monthly, our overhead for processing the $20/1GB accounts would more than quintuple (to over 20%). Even on the $100/10GB accounts, our processing overhead would more than double, making Zotero storage more expensive for us and ultimatel…

That's a great idea. I'll work on adding something.

We removed the button because essentially no one was donating. On the other hand, lots of people are buying storage. We'll think about reincorporating a link to donate.

I recommend actually looking at a book in literature, history, art history, cultural studies, etc that has been published by an American university press in the last decade. Not only do we look at them, we write them.

Many thanks for your concern. We invite you to commit optimization code as needed. Closing thread.

Moreover, if I'm not mistaken, Mendeley doesn't support native PDF annotations, which can be read by Acrobat, Preview.app, etc without recourse to "exporting" the PDF. I think iAnnotate might suffer the same problem. Anything Zotero implements is go…

Fixed. Your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs.

Blogged.

Agreed. This is a forum for Zotero, not Google or PayPal. Please voice your (essentially insane) concerns elsewhere.

We'll blog about them very soon, but first we wanted to test them (and also provide feedback if there are bugs). I agree that these are exciting developments!

I've fixed the DOI issue, but the other problems you note can't be fixed, and probably shouldn't be. Remember that arXiv is a preprint site, and so publication information is likely to be incomplete and in any case does not represent the artifact at…

mronkko, I removed one of your links, which referred to very incomplete draft documentation. The second link is almost certainly what the_jest wants anyway.

This issue is fixed in the latest version of the MUSE translator, which runs in 2.1.9 (not yet released) and 3.0b1.

The entire premise of this thread is logically flawed since: a) Chrome support is already underway; b) Firefox 5 is not a pure failure; c) There is no causal link between these two facts. Closing.

That's an older version of PythonExt. Please follow Simon's instructions and install the newer version available on our download page.

I'll offer "a bit of civility" and actually thank adamsmith for providing helpful advice. Now that this thread has been completely hijacked, abh4124, do you have any more details on your problem?

Thanks. We know. https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1755

Gracile, no need to worry about crediting Calimero988. We already list him in our translation credits.

Nature articles have in-text numbered citations and then a list of referenced titles (endnotes or a small bibliography - I'm not sure what differentiates the two) at the end. It's a (numbered) bibliography. This is key. For starters, the Set Doc Pr…

ajlyon: The storage@digital.....org address is where CDS fields institutional storage requests and for resolving problems related to payment, etc.

Actually, no one should email support@zot...org, ever, unless they've been specifically requested to do so (usually to provide debug output for unusual problems). The Corporation for Digital Scholarship does not provide technical support via email, …

Wow. I'll go ahead and offer my thanks and apologies to adamsmith, Simon, and Dan.

Thanks, adamsmith and others for your valiant attempts to provide meaningful and levelheaded queries and responses. I'm closing this thread since it seems to have veered largely off-track. Please feel free to start new threads as needed, e.g. "Marke…
