You really shouldn't struggle with a document this short and only this many citations, and even if there are problems, you should eventually get an error prompt. Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero? 1. In the Help menu, go to Debug Output Logg…

Make a copy of the document and run through the debugging broken documents steps.

What version of Word are you running? Have you tried updating?

It should be fine on Windows until you hit about 500 citations in a document.
-
That indeed is quite slow. How much did it used to take for the citation dialog to show up before this change? Is it still fast in a new document? Have you tried restarting your computer?

How many citations do you have in this document? Have you changed citation styles recently? Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero? 1. In the Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select Enable. 2. Perform the operation that's being slow. 3. …

Storage quota has no effect on citing. Run through the debugging broken documents steps.

You should update to the latest version of Zotero and submit a Report ID.

What happens if you resize the window?

Same request: could you submit a Report ID from Zotero?
-
Make sure that the citations in both halves of the document are still active. If they are, you should be fine. Seem like an intermittent google bug.
-
Restart Zotero. If that doesn't help, revert to non-Beta version of Zotero.

You get this message if LibreOffice cannot detect your version of Java. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#could_not_create_java_implementation_loader

Could you submit a Report ID? Have you tried reinstalling the plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors? (You may continue responding in French)

The newest version of citation processor tripped one of our integration tests, so we had to revert the update.
-
How big is the document itself? How long ago did you add the previous citations? Can you produce a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector?
-
As suspected, it's just an nondescript Google Docs error, which indicates corruption in the document. You should make a copy of this document and try step 8 of debugging broken documents instructions.
-
Could you download the Zotero Connector Beta for Firefox and run the procedure again? This version should show more details on the error that you get.
-
Relinking citations is not easily possible once unlinked. You'd have to revert to an earlier copy of the document.
-
Revert from Zotero beta to stable (download from the main page and reinstall). The current version has a bug in the Word integration module.
-
@iadatto Just to note, yours is not a Zotero, but macOS issue, so a fix from Zotero won't come. You will need to seek customer support from Apple.

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero? 1. In the Zotero Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select Enable. 2. Refresh the tab with the Google Doc and perform the operation that causes this error. 3. Before doing anything else, return to He…

Zotero is slower on Google docs than it is on Word or LibreOffice due to Google Docs being online-based. You will need to be more specific: how long do you need to wait for operations, how big is your document, how many citations do you have, etc.

@gsubotic Does Zotero integration work at all in a new document saved on your local hard drive?
-
If you ever copy citations from one chapter to the other, then on a copy back to the original chapter (or even if you copy both to a new document) the later copied one will become "unlinked". I.e. LibreOffice does not allow you to have copies of the…

Restart Zotero and your Browser. When you initiate citing with Zotero from Google Docs, what is probably happening is that the Zotero citing dialog appears under the browser window and you need to use Start/bottom toolbar to cycle through Zotero win…

Run through the debugging broken documents steps. If you manage to identify a citation or part of the document that is causing the issue, please send the snippet to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

And you do not get a prompt to enable permissions when using the Zotero Word plugin or with the terminal command above?

You need to make sure macOS is fully updated to 10.14.3
Upgrade Storage
