There is no automated way to convert Zotero citations to Word citations. They also don't like the fact that Zotero (sensibly) assigns identical citations to a single number. This is based on the citation style used in the document. You should figu…

Can you be more specific about what you're trying to do? Provide steps for what you have done so far, and what you want to happen next.

Zotero uses xdg-open on Linux to open links, which is configured in the OS, so you should figure out why that opens links in a non-default profile.
-
What version of Word are you running?

We are still ironing out some issues and have what is we think the final version in Firefox, which we will deploy to all platforms once deemed fully working. Unfortunately the Firefox Beta is scarcely used in Google Docs, so we have limited testing …
-
Have you tried updating to the latest beta of the Zotero Connector? We have released an update that should fix it. You might need to manually check for updates in Firefox addons page, and refresh Google Docs.
-
I can reproduce the error. It seems that the LibreOffice .docx export format is wrong when the footnote starts with a link, but we should be able to fix it in the imported. I've create an issue to track it.

You have only sent in documents after conversion that contain unrelated text in converted field codes. If you are saying that you are having issues converting the document back after having manually modified the exported text, then that is not reall…

I have now tested on both Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10 with the document you have sent us and it converts correctly. It could be related to the version of JDK/JRE you have installed, or some LibreOffice config option that you have setup. You should l…

@wikam33 did you try disabling Rosetta to open Word (in /Applications right-click Microsoft Word -> Get Info and uncheck "Open using Rosetta", then restart Word). Did you try creating a new macOS user account?
-
There isn't a general incompatibility with 16.83, although Zotero users occasionally report what you are experiencing after any Word updates. You should start by restarting your computer. For some users it helps to fully remove Microsoft Office and …

Can you reproduce this in a new document? Does it matter which items you add in the Edit Bibliography dialog?
-
Are you sure you have 10,000 footnotes? We don't really test Zotero with documents of that size and there may be issues, including just slow performance. There is little we can do about it, as it's a limit of the word processors. Firstly, I have to …

Unfortunately when I try to download anything from your cloud provider it gives me an error. Could you send one of those documents to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Thanks for testing, but this isn't really useful. We just need a document where the issue is reproducible before the conversion, or steps to reproduce.
-
Zotero Connector will redirect you via your university proxy if it has detected it in the past. So the 418 error you have been seeing could have been related to issues with your proxy. You can temporarily disable the proxy redirection in the Zotero …

Either way we are very much interested if you are able to reproduce the LO crash, or the Zotero failure to start consistently, either together or separately.
-
Could you provide an URL where you see this?
-
You should reinstall Microsoft Office and make sure you are running the latest version.
-
If you have manually edited the Bibliography style in your word processor you would see this. You can reset it, by switching the citation style to some other, and then back to the one you want to use in the Zotero tab -> Document Preferences.
-
Right. Generally Zotero throwing errors upon open would be unrelated to LibreOffice crashing, although there is a tiny possibility there's some general system instability on your machine, especially if it's an older one, like an old hard drive being…

I am unable to reproduce this on my setup. Could you send the document which causes the bad output before conversion to support@zotero.org?
-
The latest version 7 release.
-
What version of LibreOffice are you using? LibreOffice 24 is quite unstable, so you should use LibreOffice 7 if possible. Generally LibreOffice crashes are caused either by issues in Java or LibreOffice.
-
Can you reproduce this with LibreOffice 7?
-
Zotero is based on Firefox, so you will likely see the same behavior there. You will have more luck looking for troubleshooting clipboard issues with Arch Linux and Firefox.
-
This is not related to Zotero runtime (although the upcoming Zotero 7 will run in native ARM mode). Word for Mac suffers from some occasional issues with Zotero. They are out of our control and can appear and disappear due to changes in macOS and Wo…

We have released an update for the Zotero Beta that contains a potential fix for the issue. Could you test it and see if it works with higher refresh rates?
