You probably edited those citations manually. To get them to refresh, put your cursor in them, then press Add/Edit Citation, click Yes in the dialog that appears, then click confirm in the citation dialog.

Do you use an extension for PDF reading and are saving from a PDF page? Either disable that extension or save from article page instead of the PDF.| Edit: Sorry, the above is incorrect. I can reproduce the error. We're working on a fix.

The debug ID you've submitted shows Zotero successfully inserting a bibliography, and then you pressing the Add/Edit Bibliography button again, and it successfully opening an Edit Bibliography dialog. You'll have to say what the issue is.

@jeltsch @madeleine_nico Sorry, this is now fixed for Firefox and Edge. Still waiting for Chrome for approval (their review time seems to have increased recently quite dramatically).

Restart your browser and Zotero, and provide a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for an attempt to insert a citation that causes issues.

You can find the extension website settings in the Websites tab, scrolling down in the sidebar. Do note that Zotero Connector is likely to not work well or at all for saving if you don't allow it to run on all websites. Zotero Connector doesn't coll…

Change tracking is disabled for Zotero citations as it very easily causes document corruption.

In Zotero Connector Preferences -> Advanced, is "Enable Google Docs Integration" checked? Could you submit a Report ID?

Could you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for inserting a citation that is causing problems? Could you also take a screenshot of what the inserted citation looks like and post it here? What citation style are you using?

If you have software that provides clipboard history or similar functions, it's likely interfering with Zotero Word plugin. Try disabling it and attempting to cite.
-
Restart Zotero and generate a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to perform a citing operation.
-
Restart Zotero and refresh the Google Docs tab and try again. If after pressing Add/Edit Citation in Google Docs the citation dialog doesn't appear, look through open Zotero windows.

Can you create a screencast that showcases this issue?

Submit a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for an attempt to insert a citation that fails. If this occurs in a new document, produce a Debug ID for a new document too. A screen recording may also be helpful if this occurs in a new doc…

You should restart your computer and make sure that you are running both Zotero and Word as the same user (not running either as Administrator). If you are using any proprietary security software, you should temporarily disable it. If that doesn't …

Yes, I can reproduce this. We will fix it soon. In the meantime you can work around it by making sure that the font used in the text is applied to the style of that paragraph.

What is the full version of Word that you are running? Find it in Word by pressing File -> Account -> About Word.

Which document processor are you seeing this with? Does it happen in a new document? Does it follow the font if you change the Body text style in the Word processor instead of changing the font directly on the text?

The item may be manually omitted from the bibliography (in the Edit Bibliography dialog). You should revert all Bibliography changes in that dialog by pressing "Revert All", or alternatively remove the bibliography from your document, and reinsert i…

Can you give specific steps for reproducing the issue? See Reporting Problems. Also provide a Debug ID for an operation that fails/causes issues.

You cannot convert the document to a version that works with Zotero without access to Word. You should can use the Microsoft free trial to do that. Follow for moving the document to LibreOffice https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_betw…

Does it happen in a different browser, different chrome profile, or if you disable all other extensions?

LibreOffice locking up/crashing during plugin installation is generally a bug on LibreOffice's side. Text being displayed instead of icons is usually fixed by resetting your LibreOffice profile and reinstalling the plugin. Also a LibreOffice bug.

See Reporting Problems. Provide steps of what you do and what happens. Let's troubleshoot one word processor at the time, or create a separate thread for the other one. Issues and Word and Google Docs are generally unrelated.
