Different sorting rules Try ls -p | \ awk -F. '{ if ($0 ~ /\/$/ ) { print "!",$0 } else if ( NF == 1 ) { print "!!",$0 } else { print $NF,$0 } }' | sort -k 1,1 -k 2,2V | \ cut -d' ' -f2- and look at the output (source)

Still works for me on macOS (cmd+shift+f) and Linux (ctrl+shift+f) in Zotero beta 67 (there has been a report that 67 didn't go through Windows: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/458012/#Comment_458012)

Please provide an example URL for a failed attempt. If it is from ScienceDirect, please refer to https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/450008/#Comment_450008 and https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/451390/#Comment_451390

You could start by searching a style by example : https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/ If you don't find a close match, you can then request a new style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requ…

Thank you

I missed these lines, right. I directly went to the basic format with different numbers of authors, which displays the DOI. Sorry for the confusion

According to its website, the journal is following the Taylor & Francis - National Library of Medicine style, which is already available in Zotero. However, according to the linked PDF (second link), the style need to be updated, especially to…

I was first going to say I could not reproduce. But since I tried to omit the author for 2 citations, the mouse click doesn't work anymore, even with only 1 citation. Only navigating with the keyboard allows to select "Omit Author".

What is the refresh rate of your screen?

This workaround looks good for me, until you can come up with a better solution. Thank you for working on it.

I have noticed the same behavior than I think @Nigel007 is describing. This should be split into a new thread I guess 1. Add/Edit Citation 2. Enter, Enter to select and insert the first opened document 3. Put the cursor in the created reference, Ad…

I'd assume this was a temporary outage of the arXiv API There seems to be some daily temporary outage, as it doesn't work right now, like yesterday around the same time (9-10am JST). But it worked yesterday afternoon (JST).

Sorry to interfere with the discussion. I have a different use case, but with the same request. All the PDFs I have retrieved from JSTOR have a page automatically inserted before the first page of the paper. It would be nice to be able to set the p…

Fixed in beta 65

Reproducible on macOS, not on Linux.
-
It doesn't occur in beta 64. Thank you for fixing it

Could you provide a link to the guidelines asking to include the issue number? These guidelines do not mention about the issue number, only the article number (which is already handled by the CSL)

Same with Adobe Acrobat Reader, without the freeze. The System Default works (mine is Preview) Zotero 7 beta 64 macOS 14.2.1

Might be a file type handling problem. What is the output of xdg-mime query default inode/directory? On my Ubuntu 22.04, it returns org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop See also https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xdg-utils#xdg-open

Probably more a question for the zotero-dev group than for this forum.
