Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for inserting a bibliography into a new document with one cited book with APA? Do you get italics in other word processors: LibreOffice or Google Docs?

I can't add new citations to Google Docs.

Zotero is not able to insert citations into Google Docs in Suggestion mode. We'll add a tooltip to the disabled menu for clarity.

If you're sure it's not that, restart your browser and Zotero and try again, and also try disabling all other third-party browser extensions and reloading Google Docs.

We created a new, much faster version of Google Docs integration, but unfortunately there's a Google Docs bug that can result in errors, so until they fix that we're not making it the default.
