I have not been able to link citations in my word document -

I am converting from Mendeley to Zotero. I have exported by references from Mendeley and imported them to Zotero. All good.

What are you referring to by third-party extensions? Are these like the Chrome plugin or Word adding?

I assumed at the end I would be able to combine this into single word document with all the references - in Zotero set to endnotes - and be done with it.

I was going to organise my word documents by the three sections.

Being a shortcut-addicted person, I'd love to see something like this coming to Zotero. I see the value of the Advanced Search and its filters, but if I only want to open up a file with known name, it

I use WordWeb Dictionary a lot when reading PDF.

J'ai exactement le même problème.. Il y a récemment eu des mises à jour de word et de Zotero, pourrait-il y avoir un lien ?

The matter of fact is that a lot of the authors in developing countries use word 2003 (you may be surprised)

Since I could change zotero.dot plugin code to update it to newest release, do you really think I don't know about opening files in different versions of the msword? :-)

Files created with Word 2003 (i.e. saved with .doc instead of .docx) format are fully editable with Word 2016. If those files automatically open for you in Word 2003, you can either manually open them

You should accept all tracked changes first and if that doesn't help follow Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents guide.

I recommend combining them by converting each to a PDF, then combining the PDFs, rather than doing anything to combine the documents in Word.

It sounds like you have the classic citation dialog enabled in the Cite → Word Processors pane of the preferences. (The red bar appears by default.)
