BEST Setup? Zotero for a Book

I am a new Zotero user.

I have a book outlined with ten chapters, which unfold in three sections.
I assumed I should set up ten folders under 'my library.'
I was going to organise my word documents by the three sections.

Note: I have the first section written and am just now converting the references to Zotero.

Each chapter deals with a different set of references. Each section will have some references in common.

I assumed at the end I would be able to combine this into single word document with all the references - in Zotero set to endnotes - and be done with it.

Indications on this discussion board is that - is not going to be possible.
1. I will need to keep the whole book in one word file.
1.1 I have no clarity on how to best set up Zotero for the entire book.
2. I am uncomfortable having 1 large word file.

Not sure what indications you are referring to, but that's indeed exactly what you should do. There are some details that you want to figure out (do you use a style that cross-references endnotes? Do endnotes start at 1 for every chapter/every section? How should or shouldn't subsequent citations to the same work across chapters/sections be shortened) but they all have pretty straightforward solutions.

Id recommend testing your final assembly with a small working example asap so you know it works (and what questions you need addressed) but in general this will just work
