Word is crashing and I'm receiving an error message from the Zotero add-on. Zotero itself isn't shutting down.

Sorry,.it's unclear what's actually happening: is Word crashing, i.e. shutting down unexpectedly, or are you just receiving an error message from the Zotero add-on?

I am writing a paper. At some point, "Word" closed every time I wanted to insert or edit a citation. Each time a Zotero window opened with the following text: "An error occurred while updating your do

Unfortunately, Word crashes when I click on Zotero Document preference or any other Zotero button.

As indicated in the title, whenever I try to make a change via Jurism, the Word document freezes. This has been happening ever since the Sonoma update.

I'm starting a new discussion so as not to confuse anyone by adding on to a previous thread. I switched from an installed version of Word to Word 365 about a year ago. The Zotero tab stopped appearing

I'm using Zotero with Word, and I selected "Association for Computer Machinery" style. I noticed an issue with how Zotero references multiple sources, that differs from ACM style.

Working with a large Word document with a substantial number of citations.

Can you describe step by step what you're doing, starting from pressing the Add/Edit Citation button in Word, what happens and what you expect to happen?

Yes I have done that and it still does not work. It is happening when I open a new word doc and enter one citation.

I am having trouble inserting new citations into my documents - its only 35 pages. Word either crashes or the citation is inserted with an underline. I have disabled automatic refresh and have restart

Word Version: LTSC Professional Plus 2021

I was able to add citations up until this morning to my word. Now when I try to click add/edit citations, nothing happens, the red box doesn't appear, and instead it just causes the zotero app to pop

If so, how long have you waited after pressing the add citation button and have you tried restarting Word and Zotero? Also which operating system, which Word version?
