I have just confirmed that it operates as expected in Chromium when logged into the university system. All the errors noted in this thread are associated with Firefox.

That's the problem, it does not open a feed URL, it's just a download menu (I am talking about Elsevier Embase interface) and if I open in Firefox it is a local file address.

In any case, I would recommend using the Zotero Connector for Chrome or Firefox instead.

You could try a refresh of your initial FF profile. Be aware that it does keep certain things, but also get rid of a bunch of things. Read carefully and evaluate what you need to backup/note down, bef
