This is just an idea, but are you using the French language version of ProQuest? This should absolutely work, but could you try switching to English and see if that works?

@jjrondeau: Thanks. It looks like the proxy detection is actually working properly for both of you, but Zotero still isn't detecting anything to save on ProQuest.

(dstillman will need to look at the debug, but just to note that this is working fine for me on proxied ProQuest ERIC, so it's not a general issue

If you click on the proxy in the Configured Proxies section, do you see search.proquest.com listed under Hostnames in the bottom section?
