Cannot save PDF automically from Proquest

Hi! I currently have a problem while saving my research from ProQuest to Zotero.
my Debug ID: D494268734
The URL on which I tried to save items: https://www-1proquest-1com-10032f87n114e.emedien3.sub.uni-hamburg.de/docview/1292868068/9BD0672EF64F49E8PQ/1?accountid=11262&imgSeq=1

The Zotero connector is a gray webpage icon. I've already read the troubleshooting guideline and followed all the steps (restart Google Chrome, restart Zotero, check the update).
I've also searched in this forum with 'ProQuest' problems but so far could not find anything that suits my case.

I also tried to access to another website from Cambridge with the link: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/language-in-society/article/enregistering-internet-language/F8A79BB74879D022D911F3B818B727BF#
It works normally and perfectly with Zotero.

All the documents needed for my thesis unfortunately are on ProQuest. So can you please help?

This looks like some really weird stuff your university is doing for authentication, I don't think Zotero can properly handle the rewriting of the URL it's doing (the "plain" URL is www.proquest.com/docview etc. )

That said, Uni Hamburg looks like it has robust VPN support. I'd suspect if you're using that https://www.rrz.uni-hamburg.de/services/netz/vpn.html instead of the web proxy for authentication, you'll be able to import.

@adamsmith I'm speechless with your talent haha. I've spent more than 5 hours to research and read every thread in this forum with ProQuest and PDF saving, still could not find out what happened. You solved it maybe in a minute!

I've tried the VPN guidelines and now can download perfectly! Thank youuuu
