Zotero Connector won't connect to database results list behind proxy
Hi all,
I tried submitting an error report before posting here as mentioned in the troubleshooting recommendations but I got this message:
Zotero connector
An error occurred submitting your report.

Here's the problem: I've lately noticed that when I am in a subscription database that's routed through a proxy (Scopus, ProQuest; I'm a college librarian working off campus), the search results list that used to prompt the folder icon in the Connector now just gives me the website icon. I just chatted with a student who was having the same issue. I've had this happen with Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Safari. I do see the folder icon with a Google Scholar results list. I have followed some of the recommendations laid out here - https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues - including updating my browser, clearing my cache, having Zotero open, etc, but nothing has helped.
Thanks for your help!

How is the proxy set up? The error report error suggests that Zotero itself can't connect to the internet at all, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connection_error

I don't have Zotero running through a proxy, it tends to interfere with my library's proxy when I click the "Enable proxy redirection" option for the Connector.
