Wait, sorry, I actually misread the error message. It looks like there's just a bug here where indexing could fail for some large databases, and no more than once every couple weeks. Your database is fine. Sorry for the scare. Restarting Zotero sho…

If it modified your local SQLite database. Something did, at least. Or it's DB corruption, though that's less likely to show as a missing table. You can check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero settings.…

Error: Error(s) encountered during statement execution: no such table: indexing.fulltextWords Your database is missing a table. Did you do something unusual to your database? Do you have your Zotero data directory in a cloud storage folder? Sorry, …

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
@barrydrisc: Yes it does. (You can see on the releases page that it was made compatible with Zotero 9 in version 2.5.0 in early April.)
-
Editor is covered in the last section on that page: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/classic_citation_dialog#editing_citations
-
First, read through https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/classic_citation_dialog to make sure you understand the changes and how best to use the new dialog. Clicking the citation bubble will definitely open the citation popup unless something is very …

Sorry, we can't provide general OS guidance here. You can look up documentation online for checking Windows file permissions. Again, this isn't any sort of problem in Zotero itself — it just needs to be able to write files to its own data directory…

Connections to your WebDAV server are failing. That would be a problem with your internet connection or the WebDAV provider.
-
You can disable app.update.auto in the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings, but as I noted previously, you won't receive any further support here, and things will absolutely break. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/…
-
Not sure what you mean by "Plug in for Chrome". This would be due to either non-standard security software on your system or a problem with file permissions in your Zotero data directory (e.g., after transferring the folder from another computer). Z…

You're at your 300 MB quota, so any files above that would never have been uploaded to our servers. If you're using WebDAV, something isn't configured properly on one of your devices. See Files Not Syncing for troubleshooting steps. If you just wan…

It's what adamsmith says — Abstract specifically isn't currently shown in the merge view. (You didn't mention Abstract in your original question.) This is indeed a regression since Zotero 7, when Abstract was moved to a dedicated section in the item…

If the arrow is stopped, it should have synced completely. You can always click the sync button manually. If it spins for a second and stops, you should be in sync.
-
Yes, sorry, retraction data wasn't updating for the last week. Fixed now, with ~60 additions, including this one.
-
the selected text jump to the highest existing highlight Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean? Annotations embedded in the file would always show as locked unless you use File → Import Annotations to transfer those to Zotero.
-
Upgrade to the latest version of Zotero. For security reasons, older versions are no longer able to log in for syncing, except immediately after a successful password reset.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector (rather than Zotero) for reloading the article page and trying to save?
-
@richarddunks: I think there's some sort of confusion here. Selecting text alone should never start Read Aloud. It's only started by 1) clicking the Read Aloud button in the toolbar, 2) pressing R or L on the keyboard outside of a text field, or 3)…

Do you mean that you're clicking the Cite button on Google Scholar? Same answer — it's just Google rate-limiting you — but note that that's not how you would add things to Zotero on a supported site like Google Scholar. You just click the save butto…
-
But where are you seeing that? In your browser? In Zotero? Doing what, exactly? Can you show a broader screenshot that shows the context?
-
Sorry, we can't help beyond the above, which tells you exactly what you need to do. These settings are in Advanced for a reason. If you need further help, ask someone to follow the given steps and fix it for you.
-
I'd strongly encourage you not to change advanced settings if you don't know what you're doing. You set your Zotero data directory to the root of your disk, which obviously is wrong and won't work. Go to your Zotero profile folder, open prefs.js i…

Your IP address has been automatically blocked due to automated attacks against Zotero user accounts coming from that IP address within the last 24 hours. If this is a residential IP address, you should check all your devices for malware. If it's a…

Files above 4 GB are not currently supported Not related to a Zotero update. You're trying to upload a file larger than 4 GB, which isn't currently (and has never been) supported. Paste BFY72CBS into the search bar in All Fields & Tags mode to …

Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that triggers this?
-
@metaxasoessle: An upcoming version should be much better at automatically skipping headers and footers. That would be the first thing to try.
-
I'm not sure what you mean by "Focused Reading Mode"? That's not a feature in Zotero.
-
Read through https://www.zotero.org/support/duplicate_detection, and if you're still confused by something, provide some screenshots of what you don't understand. The point is that you're merging items, so the only thing that matters is the metadat…
