"Error updating document" after Add/Edit Citation; Word shows Convert File dialog
Zotero 7.0.32 with Microsoft Word 365 Version 2605 on Windows. Clicking Add/Edit Citation opens the citation picker normally, but after selecting a reference and confirming, Word displays a Convert File dialog (Rich Text Format selected by default). Whether I click OK or Cancel, Zotero reports "An error occurred updating your document." This occurs in every new blank .docx document, not just one file. I have reinstalled the Microsoft Word add-in, tested outside OneDrive, disabled "Confirm file format conversion on open," disabled Adobe/Kofax add-ins, verified Document Preferences opens normally, and confirmed Ctrl+F9 inserts Word fields correctly.
