@garrett.mitchener: No, it is not. But you're using an unofficial, sandboxed version of Zotero. As I say above, you should install the official tarball if you're having trouble. You can install it anywhere you like.

Yes it is. That's an unrelated issue (and a misleading error message) during full-text content syncing, which just lets you perform full-text searches on devices where the file hasn't been downloaded and in the web library. All your data and files w…

1) Be sure to mention when you're running a beta version. If you don't mean to be running the beta, reinstall the release version from the download page. 2) You don't mean Classic View, which just had a form field for locators. You just mean the pr…

The ZIP just omits the installer and gives you the files that would go in the Program Files folder. It doesn't change anything about where Zotero saves settings or data, so it doesn't create a portable version. (The profile folder is configurable wi…

Please post development questions to zotero-dev. (We've asked you to do this twice before.)

Not currently, no. It's much more complicated than just sending an email, though — it would need to be part of a much larger set of collaborative annotation features (comment threads, thread resolution, user lookup, in-app notifications, etc.). We'v…

The number of items shouldn't matter for Zotero. I can't speak for Mendeley. But it's likely what I say — that one or more malformed entries are causing items to be skipped (e.g., because an entry isn't properly closed).

Yes, to be clear, this was the relevant section of the linked page: The solution is to store titles in sentence case in your Zotero library and let Zotero automate the conversion to title case if necessary. For example, when using Chicago Manual of …

https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/121707/available-for-beta-testing-reader-appearance-popup-with-theme-support (You don't have to mention the architecture in your posts, just the version. There's no functional difference between architectures.)

Apps specifically for the Boox, or general apps? E.g., does the Kindle app do this? I believe we'd have to add explicit support for treating hardware volume up/down as page turns. I assume we can do that fairly trivially. I'm just curious how commo…

That's how sentence case works in Zotero. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/sentence_casing

Ah, it shows up without hyphens. But yeah, it appears on that Amazon page and nowhere else, so there's nowhere for Zotero to get metadata for it from.

978-1-950899-93-7 I'm not sure where that's from — I don't even see any search results for it — but it's not an ISBN that's been registered in any mainstream databases.

You're syncing with a different account from the one you're posting from. You can check the account you're syncing with in the Sync settings. You should also delete the account you're posting from and add this email address to your other account.

(We've updated the blog post item to use sentence case as well.)

It looks like the standard solution here is to maintain the tab width until the cursor leaves the tab bar, at which point the tabs resize appropriately. We'll look into implementing that. In the meantime, close with Ctrl/Cmd-W or via the X button i…

You'd have to open the BibTeX files in a text editor (e.g., Notepad or TextEdit) and figure out 1) if the missing entries are present and 2) what the entries look like for the items where the tags are incorrect. For (1), make sure you're actually l…

What Word version? If you make a copy of the document and cut the document down to just the problematic section, does it still crash?

See Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear and the platform-specific steps linked from there, and if you're still having trouble, let us know exactly what you tried, in your own words, and what happened at each step. You can also provide screenshots. That in…

We can't help debug problems with individual WebDAV servers, sorry.

Zotero syncs the correct files. If they're not appearing, or they're showing as 404s, that's some problem with your WebDAV server.

We added support for saving from GitHub repos with CITATION.cff files the day after it was added by GitHub in 2021. https://x.com/zotero/status/1420515377390530560

Sorry, the iOS app isn't yet localized, but it's planned.

OK, great. You should also update to Zotero 7 via Help → Check for Updates. Hard to say why some of your files hadn't uploaded automatically, but Zotero 7 includes a few file-sync fixes.
