This should be fixed in 8.0.1-beta.3 shortly. We'll need to add similar hard-coded fixes to the other platforms as well.

I'd guess that this is just related to the slow loading time, which can happen in libraries with a large number of annotations. This is fixed in the latest Zotero beta and will be fixed in Zotero 8.0.1 soon.

Make sure you're clicking the citation and pressing Ctrl-C. If you just select text, it will copy only the text. If you can't get it to work, provide a Debug ID for reproducing it.

Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save?

This was likely caused by a plugin. Close Zotero, go to your Zotero profile folder, email treePrefs.json to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread, and then delete that file and restart Zotero.

What exactly do you by "I lost the files in my intended folder"? The items didn't end up in the collection you were dragging to, or you can't find them in Zotero anymore? Even if something failed while moving items, that would never cause items to …

The beta should fix slow startup times for libraries with large numbers of annotations. If it's still freezing, generate debug output from Zotero startup and send the file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

In the latest Zotero beta, we've added a new "Black" theme that matches the dark theme from Zotero 7, with a black background and inverted images. We've also added an "Invert Images" checkbox that can be enabled when creating custom dark themes.
