What do you have selected in Zotero when you're trying to save? Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero itself (rather than the Connector) for reloading the page and reproducing that error?

That shows a successful save of a NYT article. What's the exact issue that was meant to show? Can you provide a screenshot that shows the problem?

2FA isn't yet required to log in and add a new email address: https://www.zotero.org/settings/email You can then receive the two-factor code at that email address when setting up the app.
