I second the use of Foldershare. I have my zotero folder and my firefox profile synced between two computers. My tip to make it work is make sure that zotero points to the same path for the zotero storage folder (on my setup, c:\zotero).

Great. I just tried doing a "save link to pdf as snapshot" on sciencedirect and the resulting file ends up being named "science" without a pdf extension, so I have to change the file name. I am not sure, but I might have had a similar problem …

You might be interested to know I tried this with Word 12 on windows XP and it worked - though I had to change the security settings. Won't be using till the parenthesis problem is fixed though.

Just realised you can associate notes with a item:webpage, as opposed to snapshots and linked pages, so I will be doing that instead of using snapshots and linked pages, but main point about url capture still applies.
