Thanks, I will try and get back at some point.
-
It would be great if you could look into it just in case.
-
This is great, thanks. It's also about space on the disk. I could have a cron job to regularly remove it. It's the only solution I can come up with.
-
But My Dropbox is not synced with any other computer. Why would this not work? Would Google Drive be a better option?
-
There it is again: https://snipboard.io/o23QNS.jpg I think this is a bug. My settings explicitely say number of backups: 1. I notice this immediately, because my Dropbox tells me I'm out of space.
-
Thanks, I had. I did a new test by deleting it again, and will post again if it did not work. For the moment it's kept just one bak file only. So good.

This got solved automatically.

I see now. So the pinned citation only prevents Zotero from renaming it when modifying the independent entry.
-
Understood, thanks!
-
Thanks. The citation key is a fundamental piece of information that assigns a unique identifier to each reference in the library. This is essential for anybody working with references and citations. Each Bibtex citation starts with @article{Allen20…

Thanks!

Is there a page where the concept of pull export is explained, how it is useful and how it differs from normal export? Thanks.
-
Understood, thanks!
-
Great, thanks.
-
Thank you. If I'm connected to my institution and have access rights to paywalled publications, will these be added?
-
Thanks. I see this for some entries but not for others. Why is this so?
-
Thanks.
-
Before "Date Added" and "Modified" I see "Extra". Is that it? So I should see the citation key in that Extra field if I uninstalled BetterBibtex?
-
Thanks, looking foward to a response. So where should we see the Extra Field for unknown fields from Mendeley?
-
See here: https://snipboard.io/4EC1Q5.jpg The first row is "citation key". It is usually "nameofauthorYEAR", a unique key to identify a reference. I have BetterBibtex installed as an extension, so I am not sure if this field comes from that extensio…
-
Thanks, however I couldn't find any information about whether citations key remain identical or are changed.
-
Right, thanks.
-
Interesting. I will have a look. Thanks. [...] It works perfectly, thanks!

Thanks. I am using ZotFile, so attachments are moved automatically to a different folder, so I suppose it doesn't work with ZotFile? The only reason I use ZotFile is because it doesn't create a complex weird-name folder structure with subfolders but…
-
Thanks.
-
Thanks.

Thanks. I'll have to digest this linked files business. Basically, this option would be renaming the remote / outside of Zotero folder file that lives somewhere else, as I understand.
-
Thanks for the prompt response :) In the General Pane I have all ticked, except for the subitem «Rename linked files». What does this mean?
-
Fair enough, thanks!
-
Of course, the clue is in the name :) Thanks!
