I still have the same problem when uploading to e.g. Manuscript Central, I'd be happy to send you a file. They also appear in Word (my employer has version 11.8313.8221 SP3 installed). At the desktop I am sitting right now, I am using OOo 3.1.1…

I am experiencing it again ... again, I would be happy to e-mail an example.

And let me add: One can change the button style in the preferences giving Openoffice an okay look, but obviously not giving the just introduced native kde look (which is what openoffice.org-kde is supposed to do, I guess).
-
Temporary workaround: Removing openoffice.org-kde renders Openoffice ugly, but apparently prevents it from crashing.
-
Can confirm, same here using Kubuntu 9.10, FF3.5.5 and OO3.1.1.

Hello. I just updated to Kubuntu Karmic 9.10 and FF3.5 and here to, Openoffice crashes. It is indeed the bibliography that seems to cause the crash.
-
Thanks, works fine.

Well, sort of, I don't get an error message - I get an update request and then the references are not recognized anymore. And I only experience this problem with documents that worked fine before - so yes, there were references, and no, I did not sa…

Simon, none of them are recognized by Zotero anymore.

I still experience the first mentioned problem: When I click on a citation, Zotero asks me to update and then all references are lost (using OOo 3.1.1 on XP). The only solution for me is to save files as doc, then click on the Zotero preference…

Syncing does not work at all for me today ... maybe the serves aren't working properly? dnh

Same error here (using FF 3.0.14 on Kubuntu 9.04): http://mcs.sagepub.com/content/vol31/issue5/?etoc

OK - that aside, the new plugin works a lot better, very nice indeed! :-)
-
Btw; I'd be more than happy to provide you with an example...

Thanks for your suggestion - I did this (see 4th post) - but that does not help, unfortunately. :(

Just as an add on - trying to upload to Scholarone, I now deleted all Zotero-fields in a doc-file made in Openoffice. When I then upload, a number of citations are followed by space when Scholarone makes a PDF out of the text - spaces I do not see i…

Does really nobody experience something like this? It is a serious problem for me when I send texts to non-Openoffice users or when I want to upload texts to Scholarone - at every second or so citation I have a quadratic box or a space...

anyone?

At work, using XP and FF 3.0, the styles are shown in alphabetical order - but not at home as mentioned (using Kubuntu and Xubuntu 9.04).

Hello. Of course, you can highlight fields in Openoffice, as a general thing, which has nothing to do with Zotero. But then you have to opt for Microsoft Word fields, and they're not compatible with Openoffice... or would they work in doc-saved file…

Rintze, again thanks for your help ad 1: But what can I then use the terms-command for? I want to force everyone to use the Danish ones (even if they, say, write in Swedish). And: My locale is empty, it always goes for the English ones. And I'v…

Thanks, Dan, I will give it a try! Why not always have these extra buttons there, they're useful! :)

anyone... ? :-\

Let me add that I use Zotero on both (K)Ubuntu and Windows and it works fine without any problems, writing on the same text files with the same references - that's one of the nice things about Zotero, it works on all platforms.
-
I've now managed to delete the online library by deleting everything on one pc, then copied an older (but correct) database to this computer (everything looks fine). But when I then want to sync, Zotero decides to follow the online library (=deletes…

Great, I'll do that! :-)

Sorry, does not work for me. I've tried all kinds of SVN front-ends and, frankly, I don't feel like spending more time on this. Why make it so complicated for us users - can I not simply mail the style to someone who then posts it? It is cumber…
