Hi everyone, I guess it is not easy to implement, but it would be a tremendous help if there was a GUI to change - not create - existing styles. Often, I only have to change a few things, and it would save me a lot of time if there was a straig…

I too would like to encourage the dev team to make translations of titles in the reference list possible. It is really needed for us who speak more than one language... Let me add that I from a non-native English-speaker point do understand tha…

yes, always!

It would indeed be nice to have two dates as suggested by joshjosh.

Yes, indeed, de Gruyter would be nice. This page is added as website, not as a scientific article: http://www.reference-global.com/doi/abs/10.1515/comm.2004.29.4.401

Thanks for your answer - as far as I understand, this is only possible in the styles in Zotero 1.5, in 1.0.9 the style files are not directly accessible, or?

Hi, I have this problem consistently every time I have several authors with the same last name (using Zotero 1.0.9). I happens with all Author-Date styles. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance. dnh

Today, I have experienced it again - without any obvious reason, all references are lost. I worked on a text yesterday, I open it today - as done many times before, but all references are lost. Shortly before I am supposed to submit my dissertation.…

It would be great if one could choose whether references in the text should be ordered chronologically by time (Taylor 1999; Smith 2009) or alphabetically by last name (Smith 2009; Taylor 1999) independent of the sequence in which they were chosen i…

Similar problem here under Linux (Kubuntu 8.10, FF 3.0.5), I reported it with the ID 488969195. The complete error message is: [JavaScript Error: "tipElement.ownerDocument is null" {file: "chrome://browser/content/browser.js" line: 2203}] [JavaScr…

The macro window pups up and it hangs.

Nope, tried that a couple of times, always gives me an error. I can move within one text, but neither copy&paste within a text or from another text.

Thanks, works perfectly!

Yes, indeed - the answer is to add initialize-with="." instead of form="short". Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. Apparently, this does not work. It gives me "Rintze, and Noksagt, 2008", which is wrong, but not "Rintze, et al., 2008" in case of more than three authors.
-
Thanks, I will give it a try. Last question, just found a minor thing: Is there a way to get a comma in from of the "et al."?, say "Noksagt, et al., 2008", does not look nice, but the journal wants to have it... thanks, dnh (soon "nokspurg…

I found the solution, label form="short" and change of order. That looks pretty neat... it is for the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties. Where should I send the style so others can download it? Modifying an existing style wasn't …

Thanks for your immediate answer - you were right. Now it works - except for a minor thing: The new style gives me an "edited by" in front of the editors of anthologies - how can I make the style give me an "(ed)" or "(eds)" behind the editors inste…

Hi, OO3 is coming soon, so I wonder what the status is? Thanks for Zotero, a great tool.
-
Yes, preventing duplicates in the first place would be great. Often, I don't remember/know which reference I used and if you delete the wrong one, the citation gets deleted in the text - that creates (sometimes a lot) extra work.

I'd also like to see it being fixed... ;-)
