Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero side (make sure it only includes attempting to save the PDF and nothing more)?

You don't get the popup or notification in new documents to enable macros? Could you run through manual installation instructions? You will have to find the word extension in your [Firefox_profile_dir]/extensions.

Do you get any error prompt or anything at all in Word when clicking on the extension? You should check macro security settings in Word and make sure that Macros are allowed, at least for add-ins.

It seems that performing some more general structural changes in the connector accidentally fixed this bug too (and it was a weird bug to begin with). A fix will be out in a not too distant future.

Does it work in Chrome? Does it work if you update translators under Zotero Preferences -> General and then under Zotero Connector Preferences -> Advanced?
