Hi folks, it's almost 4 years later and I have a question regarding the issue "insert the same reference (in two different places) from both group _and_ personal libraries, which would then be treated as two separate references, rather than one." de…
-
Interesting; I opened my file in Zotero stand-alone and it sync'd OK. I then reopened in Firefox and the error disappeared.
-
That fixed things. Thanks!
-
Just downloaded v3.0 and same issue exists which is disappointing. Any thoughts on when this might be addressed? Thanks.
-
OK, I gave it a try. Things are restored if I turn TRACK CHANGES OFF the ON again.
-
Thanks, I'm using Mac Word 2011. I'll give the 'workaround' a try and let you know if it works.
-
OK, thanks. Hopefully a fix will be found soon as the only work-around right now seems to be to depart from using Zotero when making modifications. I opened a new document, added the citation(s) and created a bibliography then copied/pasted as neces…

OK, THANKS! It's as I suspected. I guess I'll have to work a bit harder to convince certain colleagues to start using Zotero.
-
Thanks for the info!! Hopefully it will not be a 'back burner' item. Cheers!

It is certainly not an 'unneeded complexity' as there are many links to pdf's that are not compatible with the connectors for whatever reason. As such it seems to me to be a vital part of the connectors so as to provide the fullest possible function…

Anything at all???
-
Any answer or advice on this??
-
The Duplicates feature in the new 3.0b versions is nice but it seems to base its determination on the title only. In the grey literature it is not uncommon to run across different papers (different authors and years) with the same title. Is the…

Is it possible for someone to try this to see if they can duplicate my problem? Thanks!
-
Further on this, I have the 3.0b2 standalone installed and 2.1.10 in Firefox. The problem exists with the standalone but not from Firefox. Very Weird.
-
Nothing at all that I'm aware of. I had no problems with 2.1.10, then installed the beta version and encountered the problem. I disabled it and reinstalled 2.1.10 and the problem went away. Very strange indeed given the plugins didn't change.
-
Anyone have anything further on this? As I indicated previously, the issue exists with Zotero 3.0b2 but not with 2.1.10. Thanks!
-
It also works with Zotero 2.1.10
-
@adamsmith. Thank you. I have finally been able to look into this further and it appears that the problem is actually with Zotero 3.0b2 as it doesn't exist with Zotero 2.1.8. That is, inserting citations into NeoOffice 3.2.1 patch 0 works fine.
-
Just downloaded LibreOffice 3.3.4 and the problem doesn't exist with it so the problem must be with the latest release of NeoOffice.
-
And NeoOffice 3.2.1 patch 0
-
Should also note that I'm running OSX 10.6.8/Firefox 6.0/MACWORD Integration 3.16/OPENOFFICE Integration 3.5b1/PythonExt 110710 Have removed and reinstalled 3.5b1 a couple of times.

found the problem - fixed Thanks!
-
UPDATE: I have discovered this is a problem with my modification of the Chicago style. I guess it's my problem and not a general one.
-
and Python?
-
@lakik. Neat 'fix'. I've found the lines but how did you save the changes you made? I can see setting a different size for my iMac and my Macbook. Thanks!
-
I too find this current window size situation to be a bit of a 'pain'. With 2.09, once the window was re-sized, it would stay that way but not now. It seems that somehow the size is being reset to the default every time the window closes. Presumably…

Just downloaded and tried 2.1b7. Issue resolved. Thanks.
-
Great!! Thanks for your assistance as always.

I've looked into this a bit more. The difference can actually be seen within Firefox using the built in Zotero Reference Test Pane (chrome://zotero/content/tools/csledit.xul). Choose the 'American Journal of Botany (dev)' style and then look at…
