What citation style do you use? If Jones is saved as editor in Zotero, then it seems like a problem with style instead of Zotero.
-
There is important what type of group it is - see https://www.zotero.org/support/groups#group_types Open public groups do not allow file sharing
-
There is no way to do it automatically in the CSL or Zotero. Only manually afterwards.
-
Yes, it works. Thanks.
-
It seems as you use the style which uses this behaviour. Try to use a different style. E.g. ISO 690
-
You added citation in wrong way. You must add both citations in one window. In the "red window" (https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#citing) add first citation and directly add the second. If you can add citation to another on…

I would like to mention the case where the chosen logic does not give good results. Very often, I import "accepted" articles into Zotero. After the article has been included in a volume/issue, I import the article again. I update metadata in the Zot…

Try https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/

I do not understand, what is the problem. The system of reference must be concise in the whole document. You cant combine two different citation styles in one document. Can you exactly describe, what should be output in the document?
-
Great, it works in Windows too. If you can change the colour of citation in text only, then use (^19 ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM) instead of (^19 ADDIN). Respectively for changes only list of literature use (^19 ADDIN ZOTERO_BIBL )

Although it sounds interesting to me, I can say that this wouldn't be the priority for the developers. It is not the main or important function of Zotero. Now we are happy that we can use dictionaries in general, because it is not so far history whe…

See this https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#identifying_collections_an_item_is_in
-
Do it by locators. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#customizing_cites
-
This article is not Open Access. It is not a bug.
-
Thanks for this trick, it is exactly what I need.
-
Looks like a good idea. It will be helpful when you can find information about in-text citation at the list of literature.
-
Try to use https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/
-
Currently, I do not see any way in Zotero to create random-author ordering during the citation production. You can do it manually before the manuscript is submitted to the journal.
-
Follow instruction at https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles
-
DOI can be added to the extra field
-
It is a good idea. I work on two computers and synchronization of stylesle helps me.
-
Are square brackets the only difference in the referenced style? Notes: In the reference guide of TF, superscript is used, not square brackets. It should be good to ask editors if you have to follow the instructions of authors or style in published …

Journal uses Taylor & Francis Council of Science Editors style - https://www.tandf.co.uk//journals/authors/style/reference/tf_USCSEA.pdf This style should be correct: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Council of Science Editors, Citation-Sequence…
-
If you request a new style, follow instructions on https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles and provide here important information.
-
I think it is not a good idea. You can select more items and this function should be very source intensive. Also, if you select more items from different collections then the highlighting function is not working currently.
-
It really works for all PDFs. In the first step create a parent entry and then you can manually change the type of document to report. If the document has an ISBN then you can use import data by Zotero.
-
In the repository is a lot of IEEE styles see: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=ieee You can use also search by example https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/
-
It would be better to ask in a librarians' forum. As far as I can remember, I have never seen a UDC in any article.
-
Sorry, I am not understand your question. Do you speak about data collected in Zotero program or about the output from the style? In program, there should beso many author, as you need. he output from the style is based on the roles of individual st…
