Hello, just following up on this. I’ve been experimenting this morning to see how my new thesis might look once everything is combined (around 100,000 words and 140 images).

Word does not warn you if you export your document to PDF. And the data is not lost. It is just not in a particular export, and that's pretty hard to miss. I don't see Zotero prompting for all exports

conclusive. Apple updates have slowed the Zotero Word plugin in the past, and later fixed it, so it's possible that macOS updates are at fault here.
