When I paste citations from Zotero to Google Docs, they do not update as I update them in Zotero and Zotero connector does not recognize that any citations are present.

If you're still having trouble in Google Docs after that, say more about what exactly is happening.

Trying to transfer a Microsoft Word Document with Zotero citations into Google Docs (Chrome Browser, Macbook) for group work. I continue to receive this error report:

I now think it may be a Chromium-specific issue: I tried opening a Google Doc in Firefox, and if I CTRL+V to paste a citation, the formatting appears correctly. Weird, huh?

Make sure the Document Preferences window isn't just behind your other windows. If you're sure it's not, you should try disabling all other browser extensions and reloading Google Docs.
