@Annebritingholm: Have you done what it says? It says to reinstall the plugin from the Cite → Word Processors pane of the Zotero preferences. It doesn't say to do any of the other things you listed.

The "Add note" button is new with 6.0, so if the word addon was installed correctly you would see that button now. That's why adomasven asked.

I don't, but I don't think that there ever was an Add Note button in my word and I have used Zotero for 2 years now.

Please can you explain me the difference between "add citation" and "add note" in word Zotero V6.

Do you see an "Add Note" button in Word? If not, the plugin is not installing correctly. It might be worth it to reinstall Zotero completely and then retry reinstalling the Word plugin.

Ok, Zotero is working with the file sharing turned off, and Word is working with it. So far so good?
